@tiatdivad hi, yes I have the MKiII with the new parts. Sure the pulp ejected is pretty dry with harder vegetables like carrots but cucumber isn't so dry. I just find whatever is juiced the juice itself is pulpy which kind of defeats the pulp being dry as clearly not all the juice is extracted if it end up as a mush in the ejected juice.
just looking on ebay for a suitable strainer to put over the top of the collection jug now but if I could I'd have sent the juicer back and got an omega 8006
@tiatdivad mine is 10 years on motor and 5 years on parts which I have been informed has been reduced by Hurom globally to 110 years motor and 1 year on the parts.
however, for over £300 you wouldn't expect to have to buy a sieve for these things and even more annoying is they don't include one.
Trust me, i'm juicing correctly. Even with carrot theres pulp in the juice
@sweetypie000 110 years eh??? Will you live that long yathink? lol It's quite apparent a lot of posters don't read what they type before hitting Post icon! Can someone TRANSLATE this phrase below for me ???????
re: the stopper - rubbish ! the stopper is purely for cleaning the chute. If it is left open it accumilates debris around the base area and will eventually cause damag by forcing the bowl upwards. Trust me, I'm a consumer and know what i'm talking about and have nothing to gain and in fact have lost a great deal of monet with this Hurom Mkii device which incidentally you can't return once used one.
good luck but opt for a 9300 omega imo of a twin auger
@tiatdivad mine too. I also need a filter out all my juice as theres tons of pulp in it. It's also quite noisy regarding vibrations. Did you know Hurom just reduced the warranty from 5 yearsd on parts to a mere 1 ? Wish I'd knwn before I bought it.
I would warn people before spending this kind of money on a product that is over hyped and promoted by juice companys making profit
@sweetypie000 I have a Champion and an Acme or Omega centrifugal juicer. They are very durable units, both with their strong points. The Hurom is a nice gadget, but time will tell as far as durability and especially parts and service. It looks like some have already had problems.
The "juice daddy" Jay Kordisch blocked me because I made a comment that the Hurom is a better juicer because it doesn't kill the enzymes with high heat generated by his centrifugal juicer. The fact that he blocked me simply indicates that he isn't interested in what is healthiest, but what makes the most money for his pocket!
@MrIslandsweetskunk I recommend you try both and use the one you enjoy most. This is what we do. We try a variety of machines as they come out. Keep the ones we love. Gift the others away.
I would take the pulp and put it in my protein smoothies great fiber, now is quite a juice combination...thanks for the video post, I plan on getting one now for sure!
DO NOT BUY THIS JUICER...I received my juicer last week...not only does it not juice Kale or leafy greens as advertised, you can forget about getting any customer service. Not only will they not admit that the product is faulty, but they refuse to honor the warranty. I am stuck with a machine that doesn't work as is advertised.
Omega VRT 330 and the Hurom come from the same fabric in Korea. The two are technically identical. Only the housing is different. The same machines sell in different countries under different brand names. Omega is as far as I know a US brand for over 20 years and Hurom is a daughter company of the Korean manufacturer.
Excellent video David & Yemiah! .. professional! What kind of video camera do you use .. such excellent quality & voice pickup. You've sold me on this juicer!
@oktexchic I could hardly understand a word either one said, and I wear a hearing aid. CC would have helped me a lot, but other than that is was a good presentation.

@tiatdivad well, they just reduced their warranty from 5 years on parts to 1, so you can guess

This looks like a nice juicer, but will it last as long as a Champion?
Is it as easy to service and get parts?

@BIGTROUT01 buy a Champion mate, trust me.

@BIGTROUT01
How has the Hurom been holding up? I'm looking into buying one. Would you recommend it over a centrifugal?
Studflucker 2 months ago
My Hurom lasted 14 months. Now the cogwheel is wiggly and the windshield wiper stops as soon as you start getting veggies through.

Click on our name to see our Hurom vids with actual comparisons of other very well known juicer names on the market.

Most likely the mechanism is jammed. Hit the reverse button, toggle the on button the other way to clear the mechanism.

I'm confused. The Omega VRT 330 is the exact same juicer. Which on came first? The Omega or the Hurom?
