me identifico con todos los musicos de este bello planeta...que hace n cosas vacanas....un abrazo de oso para todos los que tenemos el oidito finito jaja....
This song always gives me goosebumps! The video is splendid. Tony Croatto was not born in Puerto Rico like myself, but Puerto Rico was born in him. "Yo Habito Una Tierra Luz" is now added as yet another honored and beloved national anthem of our precious Borinquen.
IF you like this style, then the masters of it were the Mills brothers in their first eight years or so of recording. Stunning imitations of horns along with amazing arrangements for a vocal group of 4. Check out the early Mills Brothers...uncanny stuff. The later stuff we've all heard...the early stuff is for the real listener.
Just watched the DVD on Los Zafiros, and there is a short clip of las modernistas...or los....anyway, they had a great sound...in the sixties...now I look for them and cannot find them. Wound up here. leave me a comment if you know where to find their 60's music. I understand the group evolved many times after that and may even still be around, but they are not the same thing at all anymore.
Oigan son maravillosos, desearía que vengan a Costa Rica algún día.
