@homerkiller100 its water resistant, not 100% waterproof. if u wanna drive it through a lake your out of luck, but a puddle or mud or snow is fine, u just need to take some precautions afterwards, like taking it apart and letting air dry, its in the manual that comes with the rustler
Don't knock the rustler. It's a versatile car. I've seen these beat well-set RC10T4.1s and even Losi 22Ts at the club i race at. You Just gotta give them to the right drivers, and drive them like the heavy car they are, with alot of sideways action!
@hettthercheliguy Really? the Summit is a car that doesn't know what it is. Is it a crawler? Nope, got the wrong suspension for it... Is it a monster truck? Nope, that brushed motor is too slow to keep up with Nitro trucks. I'd rather spend my dough on a Race modded ERBE or a Lo-CG Slash (Like i already own) than a summit. If i wanted a crawler, i'd buy an Axial Wraith :)
@mustangdocter no. completely untrue. what about the revo? slash 4x4 ultimate? Summit? anything else is better than a stock rustler. rustler is one of the l\cheapest trucks traxxas currently makes.
I have one with a brushless Motor so fast I recommend this more than a slash much cheaper than the slash

My Slash Low CG started out as one of these ;)
