  • j'adore le bruit de l'avion

  • this must be a play toy for the pilot flyin it LOL

  • my paper plane can do that!

  • que avion mas grande este hijueputa

  • what was that all about?

  • I want to bay one of those!!!!

  • This film is very cool. And the 747 is wonderfull.

  • cool

  • thank you my son adore it! thank you, thank you!

  • air show, my ass....look at the end sequence, a 747 can't possibly go on in that angle without crashing

  • moron... the guy was looking up and it was doing a sharp left hand turn. not a climb. consider the angle of the camera first before wondering about what the attitude of the plane is.

  • dude its a 747, not a piper 140. that thing has 4 turbofan engines that produce up to 50,100 lbs of thrust each. the plane is also empty. and yes, consider camera location aswell..idiot

  • It's not the altitude he needed flaps for, it was his speed. He was flying slower so he needed flaps to help generate lift.

  • Why does it need flaps when it is flying low? Isnt the wing (wihtout the flaps) enough to generate lift? Why is lift generation different at low altitudes than at high altitudes?

  • low altitudes have higher pressure air, as high altitudes have low pressure. much like the ocean. that's why lift generation is different and airplanes have maximum operating altitudes. the wings generate plenty of lift given the proper airspeed. going too slow, if the wings aren't big enough, won't...therefore flaps make a wing dynamic according to the speeds (planes need to slow down enough for the relatively short runway and also avoid ruining the landing gear by landing too fast).

  • No problems there - it was doing a series of flypasts at an air show. Hence the clapping.

  • aint that typical SA for ya...

  • Damn!! What happened at the end?? Did the landing gear work?
