@TheJas20 Its part of a secret side mission. The story of it is, Subject 16 (who name is yet to be revealed) finds out what Abstergo is using him for and hides little clips throughout the animus. If you find those clips it gets so interesting you want to use all of your spare time (or at least I did) to find the rest. The clips are hidden as Bar codes, little symbols, and Greek letters that you can only see while in Eagle vision. These symbols are hidden all over Italy.
