@BrandonC3 STO (Star Trek Online) was a fun experience for me. There are some very high tension moment that make you keep playing but like all MMOS theres boring grind missions aswell (Scanning space dust, kill these things) but there are great missions with in depth story aswell. Also the community makes this game great. Everybody you meet will no doubt help you with anything you need. There is also a massive RPG player base on this game aswell. I left because I got bored after maxing level.

Actually, WoW is doing something very clever. They know that the hardcore crowd are starting to drift off to the other games so they are putting more in there for the casual gamers and PvPers. The Pandaria expansion is focussed on Alliance vs Horde. Star wars will take a blow and so will GW2 but over 10,000,000 people still play WoW so, it's quite the behemoth to kill. I think RIFT is the biggest contender tbqh, it's like WoW in many ways but a newer, cleaner version.

Not a fan of ftp games. The ones who play will always beat the ones who don't as they will receive better equipment and shit. (See BF Heroes, Global Agenda). Sure it's nice to get a game for free but I'd rather just buy a game to be equal with everyone else and not have to buy coins or something stupid every time I want a new gun.

@Joronimo Sorry to tell you this, but the amount of time spent on WoW is too high, WoW won't die out ever. Maybe a WoW2 would end it, but these mmo's will all have the same fate as rift. And I liked Rift :(

@Joronimo Dude... what? Also, WoW's not dying any time soon, regardless of how much you may dislike it. SW:TOR will take a chunk out of it, but it won't get 50% of the player base. Possibly for the first month, but not after that. It will probably bring in a lot of new players though, because of the Star Wars brand.

@Joronimo A game with that much of a player base won't just die. And if those games are free to play, then people will most likely still keep there WoW accounts anyway. WoW isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It'll be the same thing in how Battlefield 3 was not a CoD killer.

Actually, WoW is doing something very clever. They know that the hardcore crowd are starting to drift off to the other games so they are putting more in there for the casual gamers and PvPers. The Pandaria expansion is focussed on Alliance vs Horde. Star wars will take a blow and so will GW2 but over 10,000,000 people still play WoW so, it's quite the behemoth to kill. I think RIFT is the biggest contender tbqh, it's like WoW in many ways but a newer, cleaner version.
