i know what you mean. It was darker then her previous albums but it was from kelly's heart and it really is one of the most underated cds. it deserved better than what it did.
I agree that My December was amazing and was straight from her heart, which brought out a side to her music that she had been lacking previously... but it didn't fully represent who Kelly is. She is a fun person as well as emotionally deep.. that's why I think All I Ever Wanted is more of a balance that encompasses everything from her personality.
I think that's true, but in AIEW there are a few songs that could be out of the cd, and they could be replaced by Kelly's own songs. I mean Long SHot, Save You or If No One... are not as as good as the rest, and Can We Go Back or Don't are quite good tracks that deserve to be in AIEW

@GraceL9 It's my favorite album, she had full artistic controll... so this is the true expression of her 'voice' as an musician and writer. To bad her label didn't support her and she fired them because they ran a smear campaign against her.

It's only considered the worst because of the poor advertisement for it because of her record label struggle. if it would've been properly advertised, it would have had amazing sales.

@kingraf87 Actually, the critics loved My December. It was the peeps who didn't like it. The kind of music didn't fit with what was popular on radio at the time.

@lalahahajkjklol not only that but they stopped advertising it. The label didn't like it because it was not "radio friendly" and it wasn't what they wanted her to put out for a follow up to her smash hit Breakaway.

i love kelly clarkson. My december is such a great cd. It came from her heart. Music should be about what you feel. If you don't feel it than why sing it? She is amazing!

I agree that My December was amazing and was straight from her heart, which brought out a side to her music that she had been lacking previously... but it didn't fully represent who Kelly is. She is a fun person as well as emotionally deep.. that's why I think All I Ever Wanted is more of a balance that encompasses everything from her personality.

I think that's true, but in AIEW there are a few songs that could be out of the cd, and they could be replaced by Kelly's own songs. I mean Long SHot, Save You or If No One... are not as as good as the rest, and Can We Go Back or Don't are quite good tracks that deserve to be in AIEW

Long Shot was the song I like most from the whole cd and I also really loved Save you. These are songs I would not want to miss on AIEW.
