Why would you need gold on a lvl 10 character? I mean you don't have to buy anything if you want, next to ammo for hunters and other training materials you get for a very low price you need nothing, and at lvl 80 this is wasted time, because you have lots , lots of more gold then

hey, i just got both professions, one was herbalism and the other blacksmith. If i do not like my profession, is there any way to loose it and get a new one?

if not am i able to mine stuff? cause i thought that was also a profession or is it just a skill.

Ok, yes there is a way to get rid of your professions.

1st Press 'C' or go down to your little person's face next to the Action bar.

2nd Go to the Skills tab

3rd Find find your profession(s) and right click and select 'Unlearn' (i think thats what it says)

and you're done.

Remember you can't do more then 2 professions.

Okay,

What you do is when you have a stack or more you can either make them into Bars with the Smelting skill you get from Mining or you can just sell them as ores at the auction house in Stormwind or any other cities.

The best way to find veins is you turn on Find Materials and then when you are questing you will see little gold things on the mini-map, just go to them and mine them. Or you can just run all around the bushy area under Goldshire and you will surely find them
