It's really quite easy to learn to do! :)

What you need is Sony Vegas.

And then make sure your first clip is on one half of the screen by using Track FX and the other clip on the other. Then, make a long narrow grey line using paint/photoshop/ anything you can make it with and then put it in the middle! :) Use Bump Map from Video FX to have that sleek shine along the divider!

the divider is actually really easy, but the thing that i don't know is the light thing in between the divider. you know what i mean right?

You use the Video FX Bump Map on the divider, dont make the divider black, make it dark grey and then it will have a nice shine! :) I personally dont like that continuous shine, i have a gradual spotlight... :) Check out my London tribute to see what i mean.
