Just got my Jetslide today & I absolutely love it!
I got a size 7 (that's the smallest, right?) It's a teeny bit loose, would you recommend me squeezing the ring with pliers or something to make tighter?
hey man i went to the website and decided to put a paper around my finger. And i measured out to be 2 5/16...(Snug) What size would you recommend for me to get? And by the way, i really appreciate you taking the time to answer questions. =]
this is awesome i totally want to buy one but the last thing i want to do is get the wrong size.. would local stores sell these so i could see what one fits best or is there a way to judge what size id be? this is so creative and it exactly what i want man. and help would be appreciated!
@TheAlteredTuning Dude what I did just to be sure was go to a jewelry store and have my ring size measured (I'm a size 10 - right in the middle) that way you know for sure when you order it you get the right size. These are awesome but I haven't seen them on store shelves. I ordered mine through Guitar Center. ; )
I got mine today and I'm as excited about it as if I had a new guitar. Within a couple seconds, I knew it was as good as everybody says. I got brass, from Musician's Friend.
I want to order a steel one from you, but I'm not sure what size to order. Is it actually supposed to feel as tight as a ring you'd wear?
Yes it should fit kind of snugly so it doesn't roll downward when you're not using. It should just hang alongside your finger so you can grab the tab when you want to use it. Thanks & I hope it works out for you!
@JetslideGuy Too bad... I guess I was wrong about my size when I ordered my brass one, then. It is kind of loose, like if it was just a ring that loose it would probably fall off my finger. It's great, though... but I guess it would be better if it were a bit tighter. I'm probably just a size off.
@BlackAngusYoung Hey, you'll like it better if it fits right. If you'd like I could exchange it for you for another sizxe. Just let me know what size you want & return that on to me here at.
@JetslideGuy You're awesome, man. I want you to like autograph my slides or something. The JetSlide is the kind of thing I will be bugging everyone I know to get into. So cool... but, yeah I can tell that I'd be better off if it were a bit tighter.
I will write the size I need on a note with my return so you don't have to think about it from here. But I also will buy a steel Jetslide from you and you can send it and the brass replacement to me together for easier/cheaper shipping.
I want one of these for my guitar. I actually plan on playing in a Metal band, but lots of the songs I'm writing require a slide. But the problem is, I'm a lefty, and I play left-handed, so I don't think I'd be able to put this on my right hand and still have it work properly. If you could tell me if this works for lefty players, that would be great. Thanks.
I make a lefty version. On a lefty, the tab & ring go the opposite direction. The order form on my website has a place to enter for a lefty version. Thank you!
This one is a brass with glass. The brass by itself is probably the best choice for all around. It sounds good on either an electric or acoustic guitar.
This might be the most genius device for slide guitarists I think I've ever seen.
My new band has a song in which I need to be able to play a lap-steel-like part for only for a bit at the transition between verses, choruses & 1 solo.

& this looks to free me up so that I'm not playing just triads with the slide live (which I've managed) or trying to make it work with 3 fingers and a slide.
I am going to buy one asap, thank you for thinking this through and inventing it.
Woah! This looks great!!! We only have one guitarist in the band (me) so when we play "Thing Called Love" I constantly have to put on and take off my slide!
I don't really remember. It was probably the distortion or the metal chanel. For the settings, I don't remember, but on this amp I usually set the three equalizer knobs at 12 o'clock & adjust the gain from there.
Thanks! You can get them from me. They're about $20.00. I can't post the link here but it's called the Jetslide & you can easily find it on the internet.
I posted this video the first day i received my jetslide. I havent been playin slide for very long. The jetslide did feel a bit strang at first but once ya get into it it feels so natural and quite easy to use.... i love it.. i am gonna get me another one for a spare..cause i cant imagine what i would do if i didnt have one...
Tuning is open G. From Standard tuning, Drop your low E to a D, Drop the A string to a G and then your high E to a D. When you strum all the strings open it sounds like a first position G chord. Glad you liked it, Thanks!
Uhm...you're missing the point of the Jet. A standard tubular slide ties up an entire finger until you take it off. With them, you can't instantaneously switch that finger between sliding and chording.

Wow! Love the sound effect and style this guitarist plays. I see how he moves the slide out of the way.

Is this the brass or the brass/glass jetslide? & which do you prefer, if you were just gonna choose one all-purpose slide?
