@TheAlltimeairsoft Air-soft and paintball are both used in Mil-Sim. Air-soft is used more often than paintball due to the guns being more common than paintball. Paintball is still frequently used in military training, but the only real way to make your marker look realistic is through a bit of modding. You can easily hide a Co2 tank in a stock and hide the gas lines though a mag or grip. Not saying paintball is better, because it is a matter of opinion, I prefer Mil-Sim with paintball.
