@scuteasorin She isn't there because the character of Kate Todd has been dead since Season 2 finale. This was a Cast Roundtable for Season 6, the actress who played Kate Todd is not there because she is not a part of the cast anymore and hasn't been one for a long time. The actress Sasha Alexander decided to leave the show at the end of season 2 because she could not take the hours that a series regular would spend filming on a major network show, so she left and her character was killed off.

when Mark (i went to say Gibbs) was talking about when the team was split up last season and how the crew members heads were popping up from behind the cameras i was like, aww, they would have been as shocked as us really, even the cast. they didnt no what was happening and it was just as big a shock to them as us. its like that every season really. they film a whole heap of different scenes and no one nos which one is going to be used and so there waiting along with us!
