giant Indian forest and east Indian forest by the color of the legs difference shows but which one is actually the bigger one of the 2? is the giant indian forest eh biggest in the world?
yes, this is deffently not pandinus imperator :) i havent see the the yellow legs, but i never saw a heterometrus with yellow legs, is your big one the same?
Heh, I don't know why its common name is the "Indian Black" but then again at least it's different from calling it an "Asian Forest" like every other Heterometrus sp. The thing is, it's not actually black. Under better lighting, it's maroon. Maroon and Gold Scorpion is a better name.
Where did you get it?

Beautiful specimen. It looks more docile than the longimanus. Or am I wrong. Great legs.

This is H. fulvipes' maximum size. They don't get as big as the other Heterometrus.
