U2 are the greatest band of all time, Fuck all of the BS about album sales, and about grammy's, and about live concerts, in the end that does play a role in it, but overall the only thing that could make u the greatest is THE MUSIC. U2 have the greatest music which makes them the greatest band of all time. With The Beatles every song pretty much is the same pop overrated song, and couldnt even imagine creating what U2 has.

As a mad U2 fan, I would agree entriely with the Beatles arguement, also speaking as a musician, I am sure most bands these days would not exist without the Beatles, they totally changed the genre. Being honest and Im sure you would disagree and call it bias, I am not having Pink Floyd as a better live band, having seen both. Their music is/was good but overrated, their live performance was spectacular but anymore than Jean-Micheal-Jarres? It was a simple light show !
