Hi Jan, I have got my horse all the way to the trot in western pleasure by myself. I have got my horse to slow down a lot at the lope, but her head bobs do you have any suggestions to help stop her head from doing that.

Hi Tattie, she was the NSBA World Champion. So I guess she is a 3 time World Champion. She was 3rd in Jr. Pleasure at the AQHA World. Vino won and should have. I am told Imp should have been reserve, but I will take 3rd. any day in Jr. Pls. at the world.

I absolutly love this mare and you are so lucky to have her. I hope you never sell her because it will be almost impossible to find another like her. She is not just a beautiful mover but she is built very pretty. I wish you the best of luck with her and DONT EVER CUT HER MANE!!! It is what makes her even more unique. PS do you have any babies for sale off of her. Although I probably couldnt afford one. :(

I have a coming two-year-old stud colt and a yearling filly.

I also have two colts out of my mares sister. One is by RL Best of Sudden. ( "Imp's" sister is by Awesome Mister). Her two-yr. old is by Impulsions which makes him 3/4 brother to "Imp". He is in training at Bret and Candy Parrish's. "Imp's" stud colt will be at the Parrish's at the end of Jan. Are you interested in a two or a yearling?

Hi Jan, In Reference to Ruby Jean she is doing great for her first 2 weeks in kindee-garten!!! The guy riding her says she is really smooth[thank God,there} goes with her neck and head with a perfect top line,Thank God again, and is not afraid of anything so far-so maybe it won't take too much for her to be dead-oldlady broke by spring LOL So I am very grateful so far and her mane is still intact along with her tail too!!! So just going along right now Thanks for asking. Will keep in touch!!

Sorry I missed you. I left on Sat. morning after the Friday night Masters class. How did you like the Congress?

We did great. Imp and I won our class and Imp and Candy got Reserve Champ. The crowd loved her. Really made me feel good!

gorgeous horse, just wondering, obviously you have done it, but is it okay to show with a long mane, its obviously not a bad thing considering youve gone all the way to worlds with one, well trained mare by the way

its not bad to show in the western all around events with a long mane; its a "performance cut" (thats how it is known by my trainer and the trainer next door from his place) it makes the neck look thinner if its longer than the bottomof the neck; were purchasing a face it im good baby out of a DD (dynamic deluxe) mare and it would not work on her bc her neck is practically arab looking. i personally like the longer mane bc if it looks nice it shows u take reaallyyy good care of it (and ur horse)

Thank you. The long manes are really just up to you. "Imp" is the only one I have with a long mane.  My two-yr-old did not look very good with a long mane.

IMP's sire is "Impulsions" her dam is "Zippos good image". I bred her 1/2 sister (different sires) to Impulsions and have a cute yearling colt that reminds me of Imp.

I hauled her to Miami and took two blues and two reds!

She gave me half of her talent that day, my mistake of getting there to late and not having enough warm up.

She was nervous and I couldn't get her to tune into me.

Of course after my classes were over I rode her down right and she was perfect....go figure.

I still have a long way to go on her but I love her so much.
