1995 Chevy Silverado w/ Flowmaster Super 40

i got a super 40 3" in, dual 2 1/4" out the back with no cat on my '95 5.0 std cab 8ft bed sounds sweet, mellow rumble at idle, but you'll know when i floor it around your slow ass to look the f@<k out. p.s. this truck burns the gas your prius saves thank you.

now.... bore it, stroke it, use forged crank rods and pistons, give it aluminum heads, roller rockers, high lift solid cam, good lifters, strong push rods, port it, and slap a nice intake on the top with a 700cfm carb.... Please.

This was the last year that an engine from GM actually sounded good with exhaust. I had a 95 that sounded wonderful. The 96+ trucks sounded like a long, nasty fart.

How did you get a shop to do it without cats? About how much did it cost?

@coreyawood Well i could tell that there a was a leak in the exhause piping right up near the manifolds so i had them take everything out and do new piping right out of the engine and we decided not to put the cats back on. I got it done at Daves Muffler Shop in Durand, MI. it cost just under 500 dollars for the whole new system.

yes, they are legal. But if you pound it by a cop, you could get a alertive noise ticket. I have 3, lol.

Yeah its deffinitly legal, and if you want to be sure just get a decible reading and print it out to keep with you at all times... As long as its below i think 98dB then your fine, might be 93
