I've always found it strange that France exports so much water (and some of the most famous and widespread brands as well) given that most of France has stagnant and undrinkable groundwater. (The phrase "A nice place to visit, but don't drink the water," was originally about France.)
@evensgrey Most are volcanic water springs. Happens we got an extinct volcano chain in the center of our Country (Massif Central). We also have the Alps (which is also a source of Mineral Water for Italy).
If I'm correct the phrase was used regarding tap water. There have been studies for Parisian tap water that showed that old pipes could leach lead into water. We started using filtration stuff since we learned that.
are you an entertaining dancer, a lawyer, a bannaphone salesman, a scientist, an evil French overlord, an lolcats grammatician a doctor, or a movie advertiser?LOL:D
NO! IT'S NOT AQUAFINA. tHE NAME OF THE WATER HE'S USING IS CALLED......"DASANI". This is certain, Lapkine. I saw the front, and I've sold a lot of bottled water while working in a convenience store. Remember that.......DASANI.....DASANI..... Go do your research on Dasani, and I can't wait for the result.
@Hereticbooks Thnx for the info. It's labbelled as purified tap water, and has an average ph of 7.2. Which would mean that either there is something very unusual with the water, or he brought the bottle (willingly or not) under the right conditions to make it go wildly acid, or he diluted other substances in his bottle to make it look acidic.
If so, then my first guess would be that one should avoid rain water : it's not regulated (obviously) and the pollution can get it to have chemicals that make it not good (acid rains are obviously painful). Tap water is regulated, and if you're certain that it still gets minerals/chemicals that are unwelcome (or you're just very skeptical), you can use filters :)
You know, as a complete layman who barely remembers doing CSE human biology 25 years ago.....
The stomach produces acids to digest food. Ingesting alkaline (the opposite of acid) material would have only 1 effect, that of upsetting the digestion.
@lapkine77 He's been stalking waterworks4u threads, trying to defend ionized water. Usually, Gaeme argues vehemently, constantly states opinions as facts and would rather insult his opponents then provide valid evidence. Graeme has a wonderful website where he supports every off the wall pyudo-science argument I can think of off hand.
@JuryDutySummons I think he's even said that it was against the freedom of expression that WW4U's YT channel was closed even though WW4U was the one who tried to censor AnswersInBooks.
I don't know about you but I drink bleach, and I'm not going to age. It's hard to age if you die early.

I think the brand of water the guy is using is "Aquafina." At least the bottle has the same shape and colour. Cheers!

In an uneducated society (see the percentage of creationists in the US) snakeoil salesmen flourish.
If you're brought up to believe all the crap in an old book, you can't possibly be expected to tell real science from fraud.
