The flight is aprox 1 hr and you fly 8500 eastbound - bravo transition 6500 over Henderson, 4500 over McCarran (numbers) to North Las Vegas (I belive pattern is at 3300 ft)... ;-)
what did you tell ATC you wanted to do to be able to fly over there? i want to fly to the hoover dam but its a pain getting clearance through mccarrans class Bravo. what should i tell ATC?
You ask a Bravo transition to the Hoover Dam - ATC will clear you north of Las Vegas; after the Dam you fly to the east of Vegas and ask for a Bravo transition to North Las Vegas via Henderson and McCarran - they will get you over these airports and then over the Strip... it's wonderful!
