@ukwildcat1998 There is no easy way to connect the VOIP box to all the outlets in multiple room. The easiest way would be to go buy a set of those cordless phones with multiple handsets and connect the phone base to the VOIP box and then put the additional handsets in each room.
@alexjonesviewer Magic Jack is garbage, tried it. I found it to be unusable. I have Ooma now, much better.
From my experience no VOIP is identical to a landline in quality. The Ooma is certainly a lot better than MJ and I'd say about 80-90% as good as a landline in quality. The VOIP I have with the cable company is better, but of course it's $39.95 a month.
@alexjonesviewer Traditional fax is made to work over analog line, and it's a hit and miss when it comes to working on VOIP. The VOIPO standard features include a fax out function where you login to your account and upload a file (pdf, tiff, txt, html, csv, excel, xls, word) and it will send it to a remote fax machine. For incoming fax, you can pay $5/month for a virtual fax number where incoming fax will be sent to email.
thanks for the ideas, my at&t service stinks

I just got Ooma, have any experience with that? How would you compare that to VOIPo?

Keep in mind, it takes approximately 10 days to port and existing number.

Does VOIPO work in a house with 6 phones in the house? How can all phones get hooked up?
