This may have been used for the demo only. Nintendo probably did that to make it easy to select which levels you want to play in the demo. It may be different in the actual game.

This game looks kick-ass!! The storyline though...Peach gets kidnapped (as usual) and Mario has to save her and ends up in Space again because King Koopa is up to his no good again O_o

Either that it's got nothing to do with Peach being kidnapped T_T
