Hey man, can you tell me how loud the 20 inch Bliss ride is when you crash it? I heard it's almost a medium thickness cymbal so it must have some volume potential
@bubbasock Hey bubbasock "LOUD" has so many variations! :) What kind of loud are you looking for? What I mean is what style of music are you playing? You playing hard edged stuff with amplified guitars and bass? Will you be mic'd up?
@stillphil Yes, I have just replaced the drummer in a metal band! I will most likely have overhead mic's for my cymbals, but I'm concerned that this cymbal won't be AS loud as my other cymbals. I have a 21" Zildjian K Crash Ride that really cuts when you crash it.
@ZackPomerleau The only way ANY of musicians "waste money" is if we don't go out and play our instruments and enjoy what we purchased. Not everybody makes records or does tours by all means make music ! And don't "waste $"
@stillphil You are so right man! I am making my perfect Jazz kit and I heard about these. You seem to like them so I will REALLY consider them if you think they would sound good :)
I'm planning to get a 22" Dream Bliss vintage crash/ride. How good are these compared to Zildjian's the best? Is it worth buying these instead of ex. A custom?
@Andythadrummer3520 Absolutely! I have that same crash/ride, and it sounds miles better in my opinion. Especially if you wanted to get into some jazz music!
cool man. I think you will like them, I plan on getting a few more. They are "their own thing" but nice instruments indeed. You can never have too many cymbals in your musical arsenal ;)
Damn Sun! This vid goes RIGHT to my favorites! So great to see you play, I never got to see you with the drums, at best, in the Square, at worst, in a flourescent Purgatory. Things now seem better for us both! Blessed Be!!!

I got a Dream Bliss Ride and love it!!! Tell me, what are the big differences between 13" and 14" hihats?
ZackPomerleau 1 year ago
@ZackPomerleau I just liked the 13" better for what I was hearing/playing at the time.
The "big difference" is the drummer ! Whatever she or he is playing/hearing.
Glad you got yours enjoy Zack P.

Great playing man. I want those exact hats and ride! What do you think of them compared to other brands?
ZackPomerleau 1 year ago
@ZackPomerleau Hey Zack Dream are nice cymbals...the Bliss are kind of "Old K-ish" but they have their own thing compared to the "newer" brands.
Thanks for your compliment by the way. ;)

@stillphil So you'd say it wouldn't be a waste of money to get them? And, you are welcome, you rule!
