  • Beatles at its best. Best moment in music history in my opinion. Ever!!

  • So this is the last three songs of the Beatle's collection that defined the 1960's. A more fitting tribute here. Excellent drumming on Ringo's part here..

  • "The End" always makes me sad. The last line of the last song of the last album. And yet such a grand finale. And then "Her Majesty" says, hey, it's all been in fun. A very poignant way to say good-bye.

  • 1:56 i like how it turns into You Never Give Me Your Money

  • so beautiful!!!!

  • hasta ganas de iiorar sus ultimas canciones juntos :(

  • My favorite air guitar song on the album. :-) Still sounds GREAT 41 years later.

  • one of the best songs on this cd is her majesty, so simple but so lovely vote this up if you agree

  • Who would dislike this?!? 2 people are FUCKING MORONS!!!!

  • it could be maturity I am not sure still,... but the body of work this bad produced only gets better and better with time.

as Prince once told me its real music by real musicians for real music lovers.

  • thanks for share this !

  • You can just feel the break up in these last songs...

  • beautiful..

  • the end has possibly one of the best solo exchanges ever recorded, total genius as always from the fab four

  • The End was the last song they did together.. and those last line was the last sung with all of them in the studio

  • Last Beatle's song ever and Ringo finally gets a drum solo!

  • Only the Beatles could have.

  • i will walk over that zebra crossin before i die.........

  • @ianrs2000 I have walked that Zebra crossing!!!!

  • The beginning of this "Golden Slumbers" sounds like "Fool on the hill". In fact that beginning part of "Once there was a way" sounds like "Once there was a man"

  • i learned the drum solo on the end by myself in like a week.

Though it's not a very hard solo it has that kinda rock drum solo kinda punch to it.

Ringo is in my opinion one of the best rock drummers ever.

  • @boilingpoint3 Ringo is the most underrated rock drummer ever. He was a master of subtlety. To quote Stewart Copeland: "Ringo is the leader in the education for all young drummers of style over flash, always playing the right things rather than a lot of things.”

  • mp3iffy is better than ever with 256kbps HQ quality mp3 conversions plus vevo downloads. google mp3iffy!

  • @omnicub3

All You Need Is Love...you've got a bit of work to do.

  • "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love ... you make."

    <3

  • sounds sweet to me and i hav it cranked up on some very nice speakers.

its YT, its free, and its all good.

thanks Padfoot. nice work. takes me back in time. and now.

sent a link to me daughter to share with her.

    she loves the tunes.

  • This is one of my favorites

  • my favorite part of my favorite album ♥

  • i stood on that street and went to Abbey Road studio

  • how come carry that weight had=s never give me ur moneey

  • In the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make, end of story.

  • i love the beatles

  • Ringo showed to the world on side two of this album that he was NOT in fact the luckiest mans in show biz. He was in fact the right drummer for this band,

  • To quote Phil Collins Ringo is "vastly underrated". IMO, his best drumming is in Revolver, Sgt Pepper, + Magical Mystery Tour albums.

  • I LOVE the song Golden Slumbers! Beautiful singing! love ya paulie ! :]

  • @pinkfluffisgreat same here made me cry and I'm into Slayer so that says a lot.

  • @xxjosev89 haa haa same I'm into Green Day :)

  • @pinkfluffisgreat its great that you like the beatles but whats does that mean do you think green day is as heavy or what im just asking i don't know anything about green day i only hear hardcore stuff

  • una gran banda!!! los amo

  • nice

  • everybody is great here but again and again i'm surprized about how ringo is the MAN ...i just can't imagine anybody else playing drums in this particular album....anybody agree?

  • @1977asmara Ringo is brilliant! As a little guy, before he had drums, he'd play on pans, metal chairs etc. In a children's hospital, he played drums in the kids hospital band. Ringo said that his drumming in Rain was one of his faves. Phil Collins said that his fills in Day in the Life are so complex that other drummers just would not know how to copy him!

  • So many rock guitar riffs are spastic and boring with no melody- this one with Love you Love you. man - i love love love it!!!!!

  • Wow! I forgot how great this album was. Haven't played it since circa June.

  • Side two of Abbey Road was played before CSNY took the stage at Roosevelt Stadium in NJ. It was in July 1974, the day Richard Nixon said he would resign. It was amazing.

  • best album ever, best medley ever, best band ever

  • brilliant album

  • The sound is pretty fine here.I'm buying!

  • You sure these are the remasters, because the ones on TPB arent real.

  • yup these are the remasters. Of course YT compressed much of the sound quality but rest assured these ARE the remasters and they sound GREAT on CD :)

  • @Padfoot333 at 1:31 there is a small cut i guess

  • Wow...

  • Phenom! Just like the old days!

  • thanks so much padfoot. the sound is great. what a beautiful gift on the tube!

  • Sounds great but the transitions in the medley seem a bit choppy. is it like that listening to the CDs in person?

  • no no it's my mistake, something happened while i was uploading it to be caused like that. Still don't know what's causing it :/

  • ...y al final el amor que te llevas, es igual al amor que das...

  • What I notice the most with these remasters

1- The sound is much clearer and richer

2- The bass seems like it "pops" out of the speakers. It sounds great!

  • Fantastic! Very heavy sound and clear!

  • Wow, I never noticed that they were saying LOVE YOU all during the guitar solo. This sounds fantastic. I already ordered the Mono versions, I will have to purchase Abbey Road in stereo. This is their finest album in mho. Thanks for the post.

  • Same here. I totally missed the love you part.

  • Gods never die.

  • Agree with all the comments here- this is amazing... like hearing it for the first time- the bass is more prominent because it was toned down for the vinyl back in the day

  • Her Majesty has always been a little treat for me at the end. It's just such a beautifully melancholy litlte ditty.

  • Only The Beatles could extend such a glorious feeling to a Renaissance poem . Thomas Dekker would be ecstatic to learn of the exquisite treatment bestowed upon his "Cradle Song."

  • What I have noticed with these remasters are everything in the mix is clearer. The only current remaster i own is Let it Be..NAKED. Yes I know that was worked on in 2003. A year before the remasters of all Beatles regular albums were worked on. After hearing the remasters here. I am going to purchase some of The Beatles catalog. It is a shame these are not being re-issued on Vinyl. Hopefully Capitol/EMI and Apple know that vinyl is very saught after again.

  • I LOVE the beatles!!!!!!

  • I LOVE abbey road!!!!!!

  • What I picked up on:

    -bass is much more prominent.

-Drums are clearer but it's not like rediscovering them (as is with the bass line). obviously the stereo sound (what ear it's in) is different too.

-you can pick out the voices better on the "you never give me your money"

-drums are more prominent during the guitar solos

    -more orchestral at the end

  • This is what "Love" sounds like in Vegas, they have speakers in the headrests of all the seats, in 5.1

I heard Paul and Ringo on Larry King talk about hearing the playback and mentioning hearing things in the 5.1 they never heard before

  • I just agree with everyone on here because you guys are so right...The Beatles!!

  • What a wonderful birthday present! (today I turn 54). It's like hearing all these treasures for the first time again. Of course, I heard this for the first time 40 years ago. My twin brother (also 54 today) is biding his time and waiting till Christmas to get the entire boxed set at a savings. His knows his best friend will get them in a couple of days. THIS trilogy is on my short list of all-time favorite Beatles compositions, but then, there are so few I can "pass on," really. Maybe TWO!?

  • It's like they were recorded yesterday...

  • Simply marvelous. These classic works of art sound ever better!

  • well i can clearly hear ringo singing back up for carry that weight, never would had noticed that before

  • I always could, and thought it really strengthened the song, but with this new remastered version, it blows it out of the stratosphere. God, Paul could really growl, huh? He's both rockin' and tender here. I love how he sings "lulla-by-eeeee." Also, it's Ringo's one and only drum solo.
