i loved this films music by tangerine dream.i bought the CD now deleted, and the hard to find 20th anniversary edition CD. just wish they had put that score on the DVD instead of the original USA version jerry goldsmith score PANTS! i want the european score we know and love ,is your love strong enough,loved by the sun, the dance,the lord of darkness,made the film.any person who watched the film in 85 listened to that score, what the hell were they thinking using the goldsmith score,

@vimsven Actually, the Jerry Goldsmith score was the original. It was removed by US editing hacks who chopped many scenes from the film and had to find a new score to fit the resultant butchered mess.

Cheesy 80s guff should NEVER have been used over such a beautiful movie.

i have the original, and this song is not on it, the other sound track was for europe and the UK while this soung track was for the USA, and there are also different cut's of the film, with some bits taken out and others put in.

That makes sense. When I watched this on Mega video.com, nearly all of the music in the movie was not what I remembered. What made this movie great was also the great music. I must have watched the director's cut version which was not good.

Yeah, I've looked for a long time, but I'm betting that if there is a lyric-less version, it's locked away deep in Universal's or Tangerine Dream's vaults or something. I remember emailing TD through their website (or emailing someone affiliated with them) about ever releasing their "Forgiveness" scene score, and they said something to the effect of "We can't," it being up to Universal (and possibly Varese Sarabande). Sigh.

I used Sony Vegas 7.0 to make the video in AVI format then I used Any Video Converter (it's free) and rendered 128kbps video, 320 X 240, 192 kbps mp3 in .FLV (shockwave flash format). Youtube will not convert your video if it's under 320kbps total in flv.
