@bicepsca Diet is really only half the battle. Eat clean, crisp food; vegetables, small portions of lean protein (preferably chicken or fish), and a lot of water. Seriously. Water. Make friends with it. Cut down on your salt, and watch any oils you're eating (except maybe olive oil). Then get yourself a good pair of running shoes and use them. I ran fifteen miles a week, spread out over several sessions, and lost ten pounds a week. That's it. The hardest part? Following through, and doing it.
@bicepsca That's easy. Most communities have a farmers market. There you can be sure your produce is locally grown, and be able to ask what (if any) chemicals were used in its farming. Unfortunately while the farmers market is best, it's a seasonal thing. We're heading into winter at the moment, so you might want to look into organic produce. Some stores are completely devoted to selling nothing but organic food, and others have organic sections. You pay a little more, but it's worth it.
What do you think of the new Clear and Natural Metamucil? The only ingredient is Inulin. I just got it and am using it to kick start a diet, which will transition into a new lifestyle of lots of produce and exercise. I'm starting with more extreme diet and exercise at first to loose some of the weight that I recently put on that is really uncomfortable. Thanks!
Hi Beautiful .... I have a problem... i love beans.. all kinds of beans... but how do I get to eat beans when im trying to be mostly raw? please help :) e
I love the video! I've never seen psyllium husk powders with additives here in Sweden. It's either the whole seeds or the pure husks.
I don't use it as a supplement though, only as a thickener in sauces and desserts.
Where did you get the info that it contains gluten? I've only seen the opposite stated before. It would be nice to know if I can make food with psyllium husk for gluten sensitive people.
I just joint your channel.I LOVEEE your energy.May God give you more. You're glowing...and your knowledge and advice is reallyyy helping me :). . . . .
Colon care and anatomy and physiology of the GI tract, especially lower, have been on the top of my educational interests... so has nutrition and healing with whole foods so when I saw the tittle of this I got all happy and was like "I hope she points out this and that and that and this..." Then I watch and you are getting a straight A on all my check off lists *smirk* You are so wise my friend, spot on advice! Shoot for 40 grams of real food fiber a day for those on a regular eating schedule.
Do you have a video about getting fiber during a juice fast?
