Metal to begin with in the 60s with bands like Zepplin and Sabbath didnt have satantic overtones or undertones. It was mysticism and since they all had religious backgrounds (not necessarily being openly christian but singing about themes similar to it)metal has always been about living life and having fun and expressing yourself. Everything that punk is about except metal doesnt preach live fast die young lol. I just discovered these guys today and I love it it's great. Proving monks rock!

The only reason metal is believed to be Satanic is because of the lame music promoters and incredibly terrible vocalists. There are bands who push the Satanic image but normally it is just to cover up the lack of talent or creativity. Anyone who would believe that playing fast, heavily distorted music is Satanic is a fucking loser. Fratello Metallo rocks.
