right now is tough for me! Im stressed & depressed. I try to hide it, so no one worries and ask me questions. But this song, and many other u2 songs, help me feel better. Even if it means crying. So I totally understand everyone's long hour therapy sessions hosted by u2. They can really help you open your eyes and fight through some crap!! thats why I fight when ppl say bad things about them. @nosaj1939 No way was the 'Elevation' tour their best; 'Joshua Tree' was. I got a chance to see 2 of 3 Worcester Centrum shows, MA, 1987, first leg of the tour. I was mesmerized by the music new and old, and there was only black and white stage lights, no colored lights, fancy stages or gimmicks were needed to hear the band that was fast becoming the world's best. Passion, joy, sadness, angst, triumph, all in one Rock show. U2 wanted it, the fans needed it. Pure excitement. U2/We 2 ruled!

My favorite song of all time. I love how its meaning can change, but still remain my favorite. A few years ago, Bad appealed to me because it speaks of letting all the desolation, etc, go and fading away. Now it speaks to me because I can let all of that stuff go and NOT fade away. I used Bad as justification for developing anorexia, yes, but it's also one of the songs that saved me from anorexia.
