How do you make the rhythm guitar parts during the solos? Do you make a backing part for the solo first and then improvise a solo on top, or first make the solo and then add the chords?

@ESA1996 It's called multitrack recording. :) I recorded each channel individually... As you can see from the vid, I shot each take from start to end.

@jerryteacup Imeant when compsong the song. Do you first compose the solo or the backing track for it? I'm making my own songs but I've played only for 1 and a half years so they're not gonna be ready for a few years (Can't play solos too well) but I'm interested in how other people make them.

@ESA1996 Ahh. Okay. Well, usually there's a song structure underneath. The part either needs a guitar solo or it doesn't... and if it does, then I'll make it... Then again, sometimes the solo calls for its own special passage underneath - and then it has to be created. Don't forget to steal licks from other guitarists. :) Just... alter them a little bit.
