its not a MMOG although other players' creatures and other stuff are automaticly updated into your game. as far as i know there's no fee.

I seriously doubt there will be a monthly fee. For one, the game's not an mmorpg. There are also many other online games out there that don't require a monthly fee. Considering Spore's going to make more cash than it knows what to do with, adding a monthly fee would be evil.
