  • This version with the cut is more dramatic that the whole one in my opinion. I feel like the missing part changes the atmosphere of the cabaletta. And Sills! This cabaletta suits her voice perfectly!

  • @Remalia19 I'm so glad you like it! Beverly was perfect for this role in every way!

  • Pete, indeed you may join me on that count! I think perhaps our Nanc will, too ...

  • I suppose I should clarify that comment ... not that I truly dislike Spargi d'amore pianto, but I find it too remedial to follow the music that preceded it - My guy needed to work that a little further :))

  • I may be alone in this ... but, to me, the fountain scene is far supreme to the mad scene ... I have always preferred to hear this music - (though yes, I'm a sucker for the mad scene - though I do not like it's cabaletta finale). Beverly brings such haunting foreboding and longing in the fountain scene ... and of course, NO one signs it better! BRAVA ~

  • @Ronizetti You are not alone at all on that count ! May i join you?

  • Prime Sills here in beautiful voice.

Technically, this cut here is just of the cabaletta.

    Thanks for posting more Sills!

  • @sillsfan2002 You are entirely welcome, its a bit more of my self indulgence I had a crisis to deal with hurriedly named it the finale whereas cabaletta is the correct name. Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow! ;-)!
