I really, really tried to sit down and learn about this product, but due to the dumb circus music that wouldnt be appropriate in any vid, ever, I am just going to skip and cry about. You just lost a sale laserlight ;(
when i put the sight into the barrel i assume it connects with the rifling in the barrel.can the arbour get stuck in the barrel, So it needs to be tight to align but i am a little afraid that i will not be able to
remove as it must be fitted in tightly. Do you reckon that i am just a little too careful? and should just try it out.
The rifle is a .22 air gun that is NOT a barrel break model, so getting stuck would be a big problem, thanks....
How far away do you set up the target to site in the laser? I set one up in my house, and at 10 feet away the laser is an inch lower, but at 20 feet its dead on?
@PLEDGEY Not this particular model. But Laserlyte does have several bore sighting products for .17HMR. Go to Laserlyte [dot] com and click on bore sighters and you will see their products that they have for the .17.
I hear alot of questions about long distance indoor sighting. I've never tried it before so I cannot attest as to the feasibility of it. In theory, using mirrors on indoor opposing walls, one can multiply the effective distance of the laser trajectory by creating a "hall-of-mirrors" effect. I wouldn't doubt if gunsmiths use this technique behind closed doors. The operative word being "closed". Close the door to line up the mirror. If this is too complex, take it to the range or pay a gunsmith.
isn't this the SAME as the bushnell...and the one at walmart? only difference is green...and the scope leveler? not knocking it...the bushnell didn't work for me...maybe this COULD be different, but the little plastic pieces wasn't true.. but i went to using the *&^% won't say the brand just that they look like rifle cartridge and it was dead on... thanks for the advise on the scope leveler, Chuck
if i zeroing the scope to hit a target in 25 yards and then i move the target to 60 yard or to other distance would i have to zeroing the scope again or will it hit the target with out zeroing again? please help
@supersanchez1991 Its complicated... what you can do 1st is sight your rifle in at 25yds- then (without further adjustments) try it out at 50yds then 100yds. If you are happy with the results at a 25yd or 50yd zero then youre good. However, if youre not happy with the results for distance in acces of 100yds, then you should adjust it to 100yds to 200yds. If you adjust a rifle for 50yds, it will shoot high on targets at 100yds (how high- I dont know, I hear usually an inch or a few).
@supersanchez1991 It also depends on what POU youre going to put it through. Hunters typically sight in at 100yds, because thats the usual engagement range for game. Hope this helps - I actually am not experienced - but I have done a lot of research on this very subject - Im going to buy a bolt rifle and do long range shooting, as aposed to my usual handgunning.
Hi. I purchased the Laserlyte to sight in my ruger 10/22 with my Barska 3-9x32 (plinker) riflescope. I am watching videos on this whole process & I hope to get some good advice should I run into problems. It seems like in your video it was a very short distance between the laserlyte & the target? Could it be a longer distance to be more accurate? Thx. JAMES.
@buzzclark This video was intended to demonstrate scope leveling and to promote the fact that they now had a green light. For accuracy at longer distances, the process is the same, it is just dependent on how long of a shot you want your scope zeroed in on.
Damn that is what i need for my gun.. I'm going to check how much it is... I don't hunt and don't go to outdoor ranges that often but I am very familiar with handgun shooting and usually skeet shoot but I would like to get more into the long distance shooting with my 30-06.. Nice video
This is a great video, where can this item be found and what is the cost? also, does it matter about distance, if set at a certiandistance is the rifle set for all as well? thanks.......
@adamroach26 i believe it would be just like if you sighted it in normally if you sight it at 50 yrds than its zeroed at 50 if you do it at 100 than its zeroed at 100 yrds lets just say to make it easy if your zeroed in at 50 yards and you shoot at something say 10 yards it won't hit were you aim you will hit low i believe it's called height over bore because your sight is a few inches above your barrel you would have to aim a few inches high hope i didn't make that to complicated lol
yeah i know what bullet trajectory is but at that close of range say 10 feet you have to take in the fact that your optic or iron sight is above your barrel by a couple inches so you must aim high that is called height over bore. bullet trajectory is good for long range so you know the drop

one producer to another... your music track is WAY Too Loud...
Especially as busy as your music is. -- it's way too "Busy" to be under a narrator.
