the amp is built in the box, so i removed the amp and tore it apart and threw it back together. theres a series of resistors that kill the RMS.. its plugged into the wall so theirs bunches of watts. i just removed all the resistors and now it should be getting 100 plus RMS..
Did you put a bigger sub in there or did you just mod the amp, I took the sub turned it around and cut a hole in the passive radiator, so i have deeper bass and less distorted bass too. Cuz if you did put a bigger sub, i wanna know which one cuz dat would be tight to do to one of my Z-4s

that's 8", not 8.5" as far as I know.
SouskeSagara91 1 year ago
you forgot something...if there is a 8,5" Philips inside...the enclosure is to small...
otherwise there never a 8,5" fits in because the woofer itself is 9" wide!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your phillips subwoofer must have a small magnet, because there isn't much space to put a big speaker in there
david96888 2 years ago
if this is the real sub its a 4inch
DrDirtynino 2 years ago
it uses a 8.5 inch phillips driver

DrDirtynino 2 years ago
the box enclosed originally a 4 inch subwoofer. i removed it, and replaced it with a Phillips speaker.

Badass for 80 bucks? you would get alot better buying some old Harman Kardon or Yamaha + decent floor speakers

I don't want to hear this fucking bass, I want to hear how the speakers sound like. Everyone is so interested in this bass....

That sub doesn't deliver 140 watts dude, it's a 23 W RMS sub ffs!
sixtx 2 years ago
hmm.. thats why theres a 240 watt amp installed right?
toreyjw1 2 years ago
24Watts I believe, I do not know anything about the amp, the subwoofer can't still deal with 140W, it can handle 23W.
sixtx 2 years ago
it uses a 8.5 inch driver from a phillips low to mid freq. ported subwoofer..
