hey man your system straight slaps!!! i just ordered 4 of these subs and i have a hifonics amp BRZ1200.1d what box dimensions and amp settings should i use?

Thanks! I never use the bass boost on any amp for starters. Turn your head unit up to where you normally have it set and then start turning the gain up on your amp. As far as box dimensions go I cannot help you as I don't design boxes. There are plenty of people who can design you a box though. Hop on Car Audio Classifieds . org

Yeah it was/is worth it. I dont think these things would fair that good with low tuning, so I would keep it above 35hz. And yeah definitely shit all over some $2k-$3k setups...

No they have been out for sometime now. I have 3 15"s in the trunk currently. Those Hifonics subs lasted until I pulled them out, probably ran them for 6 months with no problems at all.

need to tune up your amp setting cuz it sounds like your sensitivity is way high. I got three of these bad boys in the trunk with just one amp and they shakes the whole car. Now on your box set up i can only give 2/5 cuz the way it looks when you opened the door. If you gonna make something knock in your car you gotta make sure it looks good too kno what i mean. Not Hating at all man. they hit hard dont get me wrong but...need a little more work

I have 2 of these on a Brutus 1205D. If you know what you're doing you can bang the hell out of these but just be sure to give 'em a little time out.

I also had 4 on a MOJO 2000W @ 2ohms (2000RMS). They loved it.

I tried 2 on the MOJO but accidentally wired them down to 1ohm (3000W+, previously hooked to the Brutus). That's the only time I've blown any of these subs.

i bought 6 of these hifonics subs 25 bucks a sub out of  the box put them in a 6 cubic ft sealed box each sub wired in series 8 ohmsx6 to a 1.33 ohm total load a rockford fosgate t-1000.1 and smoked every one of em in the middle of the first track conclusion- if it aint cea rated it aint for me. maybe they were duds or maybe junk.

tell ya what you get 4000 watts and any 4 subs ya want and i will outmeter you on 2000 watts using 4 of these subs.. deal?

then you do not know how to properly set gains or install a system and should just pay a profficient installer to do it..

plenty of people have remarkable success with these subs..andrew did over 150 db with 6 in an s10 on an ap3k at 1.3 ohm..

I dont have any experience with the CVR's at all. These Hifonics subs will take what they are rated at power wise, and not any more. I switched out my 6 Re Re's for these Hifonics, the RE's sounded a ton better on Rock, the Hifonics to me sound a little muddy to me on Rock. But if all you listen to is Rap, you will hardly notice.....

I have two of them wired down to 2 ohms going in tomorrw in place of my 4 ohm orion 10's.

That comes out to 625 watts a piece, that would be fine for burps but not daily. Right enclosure should be pretty loud.
