Jesus claimed God was immortal. Jesus claimed to be God. To call him out, some guys drove spikes through Jesus and killed him. That is, though pretty harsh, an unquestionable test of truth. No, for Jesus was executed as a criminal, like the men impaled alongside him, and his manner of death misrepresented him in the worst way. It is hard not to get emotional everytime I see this. What a horrible and lonely feeling to have to say to your father why have you left me. But at the same time I am happy because He loved us so much and He has risen from death. Today we need Jesus more than ever. But one comfort is He is still with us untill the day we meet Him again. The main fear of death is the fear of non-existence afterward, going into oblivion forever. Jesus knew he was going to this so called Heaven so am I supposed to be impressed? Sure, he went through a lot of pain but people have gone through worse dying slow and painful deaths lasting months all over the world. What he taught was also derivative of Buddha and other mythologies. It's all so obviously phantasmagorical and untrue on a visceral level as well.

Jesus didn't really die for our sins. What he did was more "suicide by cross" He set out to have himself crucified. It was his personal choice, so he shouldn't expect any praise for it.

How Great is the love of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, he did the most amazing thing, he came to this earth and died a cruel death on a cross so that each one of us might have eternal life and forgiveness for our sins. He wants you, he loves you, he cares about you, won't you give your heart to him today. I know for many the fact that someone loved us that much that he was willing to die is really hard to comprehend, but it is true. It is also true that he did this just for you, just for you.

Jesus claimed God was immortal. Jesus claimed to be God. To call him out, some guys drove spikes through Jesus and killed him. That is, though pretty harsh, an unquestionable test of truth. If Jesus had claimed that vampires were immortal, and claimed to be a vampire, I'd concede that there's still a maybe (albeit a very small maybe,) cause we all know you can kill a vampire with a spike .. but c'mon, if someone says he's a GOD, and then he dies, clearly he was just fuckin with ya.

Most people talk about death but what is death? Is it THE END? Death is just like any other human experience e.g. birth, joy, hungry, sad, tired.
God chose to come as a perfect man. HE lived a life of a human being and experience what a human experiences. The death is one of those experiences. Thus, Jesus' death does not challenge HIS divinity. It just shows that actually died for sake of mankind. HE defeated death and rose again for sake of mankind. U have victory if u believe.

That whole manmade idea of Jesus dieing for our sins is not right. He lived for us and healed our sins before His death. God send Him to earth to live and heal us, not die. He was killed by OTHERS and THEY PLANNED this long before His death, NOT Himself or His loving Father. I have many verses to support my truth. One of the best is the angels said '‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again” (Luke 24:5-8). That says it all.

The main fear of death is the fear of non-existence afterward, going into oblivion forever. Jesus knew he was going to this so called Heaven so am I supposed to be impressed? Sure, he went through a lot of pain but people have gone through worse dying slow and painful deaths lasting months all over the world. What he taught was also derivative of Buddha and other mythologies. It's all so obviously phantasmagorical and untrue on a visceral level as well.

Jesus is so awesome! Think about it! He took all that pain and did not save him self because if he saved himself he could not save us. I am always thinking about how I do nnot deserve what he did. But I do! Jesus I love you with all my heart. Forgive all these sinners on here doubting you. They just do not understand the truth because satan is working in their lifes. I pray that they all may get to feel your love.

@Plaguedmarionette question, when did satan just speak his mind... he started a war in heaven and brough 1/3 of the angels trying to destroy god. Satan has killed many people. He tormented job completely. Destroyed his family, plagued him, but couldn't kill him because god would not allow him to. Satan may not be able to just show up and kill you, but he leads people into the 2nd death. He knows where he is being condemned to and he wants to take everyone with him.

this is wat christ had to go through to die just to keep us from going to hell. he didnt have to, he did all of this out of love and compassion. we should give him praise for this. plus he keeps us alive each day. just waking up every morning is a blessing. many arent so lucky.
