From those photos we see how Miss Dolly just got prettier and prettier/ beautiful. And what a set of Lungs seems hardly an effort for her to hit the stratosphere. Thank you.

I have been a huge fan of this song since it came out mnay years ago. I was a little girl...and it's melted my heart all theses years! Thank you Dolly!
This is simply amazing. I was in floods of tears. The photos and videos you selected were perfection. Such a beautiful tribute to Dolly and to what must certainly be the most beautiful song ever written. You are truly talented.
@chicagovidmaker Just wanted to reiterate hillybillyprofane's comment. I, too, am a hillbilly and I, too, know when something is good. You did good Chicago, you did really GOOD!
I love this song and I love Dolly Parton, she is such a sweet woman and she got such a soft voice. The day she is not here anymore I will totally cry my heart out <3
I will never get over the way Laura left me, and you can see her in a 4pt series I have posted. 3of 4 is Laura: Love of my life. I will always love you anyway.
Whitney has an AMAZING, POWERFUL voice. She is spectacular in every way. BUT...................when it comes to THIS song, NO ONE, BUT NO ONE, can pour as much heart and soul into it as Dolly can!
Dolly & Vince do the best version I've ever heard. And it makes it even moreso the best, since she wrote it & knows how the composer (herself) meant it!! ;) I heard a version of Connie Talbot & Whitney Houston (cut-&-pasted together) & I tried to say that it was good but that this (above ^) was a better version & got shot down =P but I still think these guys do it better.
& she wrote it for Porter Wagoner, not for "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas". =) just to clarify... =)
Even though I think Whitney's version may be the definitive version, I have ALWAYS loved Dolly's (after all, she wrote and originally sang a brilliant version--when I first heard Whitney's,it was instant recall). She and Vince Gill have got unbelievable "soul." Dolly is easily comparable to Aretha Franklin (who I just adore)!
You like Whitney's version, and that is fine. But Dolly wrote this song and her talent isn't just her beautiful voice but her songwriting and producing as well. Funny that you mention Aretha Franklin, Whitney's aunt.
Love the admiration Vince so obviously has for Dolly - These pictures are great so many I hadn't seen before - would love to know where you got hold of those, if you dare to share I would b so happy to trade : )

Big big big THANKS to you,Dolly, for such a fantastic and powerfull song!!!!!!
But the only singer that sung that great composition incredible strong and sensitive is incomparable Whitney Houston))))

They both sang it really good, it depends about your taste if you should like it!
Take care.

@madisonhack Hi there. I read that Dionne Warwick was Whitney`s aunt. We`ll have to Google :)

Vince Gill should make a single singing the whole song. He can really sing high. His voice has a bell like clarity.
