  • Consider hiring Wilford Brimley to do the narration. Pay him whatever he asks for...trust me. Michael Walsh would be cool for the first part. "This scumbag thinks he can get away with eating all that sugar, but he didnt count on the Tennessee medical response unit. This carb-jacker will think twice the next time he gets behind the cheeto"

  • @kortjohn i almost fell out of my chair! are you thinking of americas most wanted? thats john walsh. but i think the guy from wildest police videos would be good to John Bunnell ha ha.

    have a good one!

  • @dboyd1985 yeah, john walsh - damn...(i wanna hear john walsh comment on a vid where the dude gets away heh)

  • Um neither.. It's mainly a genetic thing.. But i don't think you can get it from eating too much or too less sugar. That's what my doctor told me when I was diagnosed.

  • But you can develope type II diabetes by over working your pancreas by eating too much sugar and starchy food, which is associated with the obesity issue. But Type I diabetes it does not matter if you eat right and are in good shape, things have been put in motion at conception that you will come down with diabetes.

  • No, you can give yourself diabetes by eating too much sugar. This is called Type II or 'late onset' diabetes. Type I diabetes is genetic, type II is from lifestyle. You can also reverse Type II diabetes but not Type I. You reverse it by changing your lifestyle and diet and being patient.

  • How does someone catch diabetes? Too much sugar or, too less sugar?

    Thanks.

  • this type is caused by genes, the onset can happen at any time but it most often occurs during childhood, which is why this is often called childhood diabetes or adolesent diabetes. there is no way that you catch it, so if you happen upon a used needle in the home of a diabetic and inject yourself with heroin then you will not get diabetes.

  • Really? I didn't know, genetics can cause diabetes? I thought, it comes from certain foods that, one eats. What if, someone consists of a good diet. Will that person still get diabetes from genetics?

    Thanks.

  • You dont "catch" diabetes like the flu or a cold. But if your diet is full of junk food and you are overweight your body will become immune to insulin and you can be diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Bottom line: eat right and exercise!

  • True...and, thanks for all the info....but, someone already told me. ;-)

  • You can't catch diabetes like you catch a disease. It does not invade your body. Instead, with Type II diabetes is caused by wearing down your pancreas - by over working it by eating rich foods (too much work), or processed foods (hard to digest and poor nutrition value) or just plain over eating. Sugar is high in calories and this increases the workload for the pancreas.

  • great info, sorry it got marked as spam, whoever did tht was mean

  • Thanks for reply.

This is YouTube and you anticipate negative response from spmewhat fanatical food advocates like VEGANS and RAWS.

The up to date trend is away from high carbohydrate diets such as ADA support to low carbohydrate diets. This I explained on my video. This is best illustrated by David Mendosa's switch from supporting ADA to supporting Dr. Berstein
