i think shin gouki is much better than ultimate rugal, because once when i got fron shin gouki i had to play like 50 o more times vs him to can defeat him, but when i got front ultimate rugal only had to play like 20 times vs him, well both were in single match (1 vs 1) with my fav char "ryu"

You must get a "FINEST KO" or "DRAMATIC KO"

easiest way: do a counter using level 3 super special on a character doing a special and KO them.

ie: do shinku hadoken on a Sagat doing a tiger shot and finish him off.

I mean, if you want GP fast, pick a character that has it easy. When I say that, I mean characters who do "combos" with minimal effort (they tend to be broken):

Characters are: Sagat, Blanka, Eagle (harder than the rest), Joe

with Eagle, it is his special, with the others, their grab does it all for you.

I don't think that damage is the case.

To fight the mini-boss (Geese or Bison), you must have at least 800 GP and make sure you get the "first attack" almost always. If your opponent gets it more than 5 or 6 times, you will have a normal round before last.

Personally, I get tons of easy dramatics and tend to trolololol some characters due to their exploits (stupid AI) and get perfects and have shin akuma kill me. D:

the battle with ultimate rugal is unlikely for, Akuma, continuity wise, would easily over power Rugal, for Rugal lost to Kyo Kusanagi, while Akuma almost killed Ryu twice. SO Ultimate Rugal, not possible (Come on he couldn't hold Akuma's power) SO SHIN AKUMA is more Likely than Ultimate Rugal

@dekaidoku Kyo Kusanagi also beat some of the powerful foe in his universe. Including literally punching out a god. Rugal also never fought Kyo 1 on 1, but 3 on 1. Furthermore, Chizuru Kagura explained in later games that their victories against Omega Rugal were more luck than skill as his power was too volatile to control and in the end it was his undoing. It's worth noting Rugal is considered by SNK to be the ultimate boss in all aspects, and their bosses have included gods.

@s4muraib3b0p As you have prob allready noticed no cap vs snk games have been re-released my theory as to why that is is that more then likely the rights to the game has expired. So to re-release this game the rights would most likely have to be renegotiated which can take a very long time due to legal issues and having to agree on a contract plus how profits are split etc I used to love this game but I highly doubt it will be released again as i'm pretty sure for capcom cons outweigh the pros

If I remember well, (been years since I've played) usual good game play with many Special KOs finish gives you Shin Akuma.

Get at least 3 or 5 Finest KOs to get God Rugal

Btw, God Rugal is stronger than Shin Akuma, he's a real beast. In this video, he didn't do 50% of what he do to me

Finest KO are the hardest since it's when you counter someone super move, by your own and it finish them while at it.

One thing I seriously miss about 2D fighters is the artwork. Sure, SFIV tried to make the 3D models like like moving artwork, but it just doesn't work out that way. Nothing will ever beat the clarity and beauty of a handcrafted piece of work. It's got that human touch that Computers will never achieve. It also helps that the game had some fuckawesome artwork. I just can't get over it.

C - launch a lot of powers

P - Use parryng (parryng is if you hit him, it block your atack in a special way than he move faster than you and every parryng give him a little of his power bar, if someone use parryng you see like a blue light for a second)

K - is like the P but harder because if he has the power bar at MAX it will make you a power of lvl. 3

Rugal is easy on A-groove, I beat his ass all the time. When he's on K-groove he becomes a beast, almost impossible to defeat. But anyway I give you props on beating Rugal, it's good exercise if ya' know what I mean. And also, props on Kim, he's my favorite dude to use in that game, he can kick ass, and also his pearly whites, are kick ass.
