I was there, it was an amazing game. But everyone kept shouting "marry me sharapova?" and stuff like that so at one point they just told everyone to shut up lol

Hingis with her puffball serve averaging 80 mph -- there are girls in my club who could bludgeon her to death.
Hingis can not be considered a great player. She got to Number One during the interregnum -- the weak period when Graf was injured. When Williamses came along, Hingis was just no match.
I liked how Maria Sharapova massacred Hingis at Indian Wells 2006 with a succession of clean winners. The crowd just loved it.
Steffi Graf is the greatest woman tennis player of all time!

I wouldn't exactly call it utter domination... The match was a long one! And two weeks or so before this match in Tokyo, Hingis demolished Sharapova 6-3, 6-1 just so you're aware...
