Its interesting that given the chance to build a robot that need not be bound by the limitations of our human form they created a robot that has two arms, two eyes, a chest..etc. Why not give it multiple arms or one arm and another multi-role arm...instead of giving it two monodirectional eyes why not omi directional eyes...not saying these guys didnt do a bang up job (looks like) but i suppose that is the difference between government run and private enterprise

@storytimeguitar its designed to be an assistant to astronauts. helping with space walks etc. Also taking on a human form is just for psychological purposes. its like having a robotic friend to keep you company :P There is actually one of these on the ISS right now.

Other machines i saw simply repeat a pattern on a virtual grid or recorded acoustic stimilus.

I like when it goes in the cones making a route between its cameras view to the moving goal (the human) without hitting the obstacles.
