  • u did a good job how did u create such a really good virsion of this roller caoster

  • love the song used in this video

  • what's the name the song you used in this video?

  • Wow. What could have been!

  • Where can I download it?

  • your sure this is RCT3?!?!?! i have it, with the Soaked expansion pack, and i cant do half this stuff!?!?!

  • Great concept, I do understand that Serka Zong is supposed to be mountainous. I'm glad you added more to what Disney originally had!

  • love the music!!

  • So, you see the Yeti three times in this one? Kewl! It's like he's following you. Everest is on of my favorite Disney rides and your design is quite better than theirs. Great job!

  • aweome!

  • AMAZING!!! How long did it take you to create it? How do you create the segments that change direction?

  • @ajpcuk6 Thank you so much!

  • please , please. please make a tutorial on how to make the cosaster change direction please :)

  • i know the guy that made this ride he is very talanted

  • Good effort! Very nice design and concept!

  • not bad.......3.5/5

  • it shows track color options to the left when you go to construction.

  • Man Expedition Everest looks alot better than The Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland

  • How did u get the Train to go backwards an then forward?

  • He used 3 coasters.

  • is the music in the beginning the official disney music?

  • yeah in animal kingdom they play that music

  • I would do nething for this kind of Talent!!

  • i like your work :)

  • for the comment few below the queasy and nauseoes feeling. i have motion ease. it works very well.

  • Gotta say, I'd wait in line longer for this than the real one.

  • what an amazing ride!! scenery, layout, and concept! just amazing! would it be possible if you could maybe send me the file for the music from islands of adventure? I just love that music! thanks and cant wait to see whats next for you.

  • In real life does it have a frikin 5 mile walk to get to the actual ride. Damn, can't imagine what it would be like now in summer.

  • this viedo is aseome and do you where you got the backward feature i been trying for days and days weell you know the whole viedo is amazing

  • how big is the drop in real life and does hurt your stomach when u go down

  • It's an 80-foot drop. It shouldn't "hurt" your stomach. Are you asking if it makes you feel nauseous? If so, that's a matter of personal opinion and physiology. If you can handle an 80-foot drop, then you should be fine. If you cannot handle an 80-foot drop, then it might make you a bit queasy. I think, if anything, the backwards segment makes people feel more queasy than the drop.

  • @Imagineer0988 when you say 80 foot rop, is it backwards or at the end part?

    ?

  • why ar u scared man i was only 5 yeas old wen i went

  • so how old are you now

  • @Sasuke7228 when u say 'hurt', do u mean butter flies in ur stomach? yes, you do. but not as bad as the tower of terror, etc

  • how do you makke it go backwards.

  • Cool coaster!

  • wow cool!

  • where do you get that stuff and objects?!

  • Please see bottom of video description

  • This is nothing to the new Expedetion Everest Imagineer has

  • Very cool! Everest is by far my favorite coaster experience! I like how you show the mountain interiors. The backward ride is really unexpected the first time you ride...and that HUGE dip down the mountain...it plasters your butt to the seat real good! Thanks for posting!

  • I think its better than the real ride

  • I like that you put the Queue. I think it plays an important parn in telling the story of the ride.

  • Comment removed

  • Excuse my French, but that was FUCKING OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! I love how the actual ride goes through the lost town. Very cool! 5/5

  • You should do this in the daytime with people on the coaster!

  • oh, i thought you actually worked at disney for a minute....

  • Comment removed

  • Very cool, great job : 5/5

  • Imagineer, I have saw the new expedition everest you are constructing, it is pretty accurate. Have you got round your problem yet? About the exterior of the mountain? I hope so because im not a patient guy, and I think it will be the most accurate rct3 ride ever posted on youtube! I wanna see it now! lol :P 10/10 (for your idea of EE)

Hope it is done soon :)

  • Please read the description, as it clearly states this is not a recreation. In fact, the title says the word "Concept", which means an idea. Trust me, I know this ride better than most; this is not a recreation. Again, this is not a recreation.

  • its pretty good but i wanna see the real thing. i am going to disney world in 6 days and i am expecting to go on this billions of times. i am almost positive there are no drops like the ones you put in. i understand that you said this is not a recreation, but i really dont believe that ther are ANY drops as severe as the ones you put in

  • The real ride has one 80 foot drop. It reaches a top speed of 55MPH going forwards and 40MPH going backwards. I have an old recreation of the real thing on my channel that you can check out. Look for the video called "Expedition Everest". It's not perfect. I'm actually in the process of making a new one (have been working on it for 3 months). It probably won't be out within 6 days though, but hopefully when you get back you can check it out and compare =)

  • You switched the tracks like the real thing! But How?!

  • not angriliy but u shouldnt put full experience unless uve got a real yeti and not a picture

  • Is this game RCT3 Gold, or Silver?

  • how the hell did u et it to go backwards

  • How did you get it to go backwards and change track when you were stuck up at the top of the mountian?

  • dude, this is amazing :)

i wish they had made the ride exactly like this. It must have taken you forever, you're very skilled, and good job :) I LOVE IT :D:D

  • this is the best

  • ahahaha the music when the ride starts is from Islands of adventure's port of entry!! lol where did you get that music???

  • This is great!

I'm making a ride kind of like this. It's going to be heavily themed. But it might not be to good because it's my first attempt at something this big. But I think it will turn out pretty well done.

  • Incredible.

  • Wow. I wish the real ride was like this. Great job you're a natural. And i like that IOA music from port of entry

  • WOW that is lyke the most amazin coaster made ive been on the real coaster and that is lyke amazin!

  • AWESOME!!! Good job again I love the how u did the rails like brown in the lowland and gray in the mountain! Great job again!

  • ive been on that

  • Amazing!

  • excellent job!!

  • I never really liked Expedition Everest much. It's a decent ride but I think it needed an extra touch to make it faster. Just to slow for me!

  • it is rather strange how ur "concept" goes the exact same track but jst goes opposite ways to the real ride

  • You're right in some ways. The coaster does seem similar. But remember, my intention was NOT to make the coaster completely different. I wanted to make the coaster as the Imagineers originally intended it (at least my interpretation of that). I am in NO way trying to pass off this concept as my own. I WANTED it to be similar, I wanted it to be like I thought the Imagineers wanted it, and in all honesty the Imagineers wanted it very similar to the way it is now, just with more to it (how I did)

  • oh i nver meant ur tryin 2 pass it off i love it but i have only seen videos of the ride i've nevr been on it so im only pointin out what i ave seen from other vids.

  • Yeah this concept is "similar" to the real thing, but it's definitely longer and has some major changes.

  • dang man how long did that take you?

  • A few weeks, up to a month

  • wait, so was this supposed to be the actual concept for the ride, that disney came up with originally??

  • Not necessarily; it's just my interpretation of what I think the concept was. This is in no way affiliated with any official Disney concepts.

  • pretty good you mixed it up and added somethings noone else put in thats cool yoou should make some more

  • COOL

  • WOW what a great effort you put into it!! I never went on the ride, but I always wondered what actually happened when you go in the dark. I heard that the video is EXACTLY like the actual ride, so thank you and great job :)

  • i mean i dont blame them for cutting funds off because just adding the parts for the backwards parts like switching the track twice cost so much, plus the animatronic yeti they have which is the most expensive thing around. and the largest, plus the mountain and all the track they have. this was probably a hudreds of millions of dollars or even more.

  • Trust me i don't think they should've spent any more than they already did. I just posted this video because it's a shame that they couldn't..... it cost them already about $140 million..... one of the most expensive roller coasters ever built

  • and i mean the good part of it is short of it is still a personal favorite

  • It's funny considering the fact that Disney makes SO much each day, not to mention each year! Just imagine! But they have to pay for a lot more than just new rides.

  • nice mountain

  • wow getting on the ride took so long that when you ACTUALLY GOT ON it was night but awsome vid man!

  • I now understand why the real ride was so short. nice vid

  • Very good recreation!

  • I wish RCT3 Could create a yeti prop, the ride would be so much better.

All in All, A very good ride! :] 10/10

  • Amazing video and I just have a few questions. I have roller coaster tycoon 3 and I'm just wondering can anyone with the game create this ride? How did you manage to reverse and switch the track of the train?

  • Good question, i'm asked it a lot: anybody with RCT3 can recreate this (with of course lots of patience and a LOT of creativity). As far as the track switch is concerned, it's an illusion. Don't get me wrong, the tracks do cross each other, but you're looking at THREE separate coasters - the first goes from the beginning until the broken track and stops. The second one launches from the end of the backwards section and just barely makes it to the top of the point where the track breaks.....

  • At that point i started filming and filmed it going backwards until it reaches the last track switch point. I then added a THIRD coaster that begins at that point, started filming from that point, and filmed it throughout the rest of the track. I hope this makes the illusion clear: the overlapping tracks is a cheat that's hard to describe. You have to edit the RCT3 coding to allow you to cross tracks, but functionally it does NOTHING, it's just a visual so it LOOKS like the coaster "switches"

  • your fricken good i want to go backwards

  • waht would the track look like if the ride was completely funded? I saw in your descritption that the ride was not completely done the way it should have been and i woul dlike to know what would have been different. Ive been on EE many times so I would understand what you were saying.

  • All i know is that they were supposed to extend the mountain, adding more track and scenery between lift B and track switch A (the main lift and the part where it switches to backwards). Other than that, I don't know any specifics. This is just my interpretation of what I think could have been

  • Hello, Imagineer0988 I Just did the AttractionSceneryAllowIntesect 1 and duel stations and want to make EE and when the car makes it at the top and goes backwards it dosent go on the interscetd path and Im wonering what im doing wrong. PLZ type back on this page PLZ RESPOND!

  • the point of "track intersect" is just the illusion. you can't actually make a coaster switch tracks. what you CAN do is make it seem like it has through film tricks. here's the difficult part: you need to make THREE separate coasters: make the first one stop at the top, then make a second one that launches along the backwards part until it reaches that same spot. It will then roll backwards to the position it launched from (film this part). Then do the same thing with another coaster from there

  • how do u make the track go through the mmountain without splitting it apart??

  • You need at least the Soaked! expansion pack to build through mountains. If you already have this expansion pack and/or Wild! then you need to make sure that when you go into the mountain that the terrain is high enough above the train (in other words, if it splits the mountain instead of going through it, raise the terrain)

  • Hey, I wanna recreate the ride, but how do you make it go backwards? Did you use two seperate tracks?

  • i actually used three separate tracks. i know this is the second time i'm sending you to another video, but if you go to my "Expedition Everest" video (the other one) i answer this question pretty nicely in one of the comments

  • Alright, thanks!

  • I used to watch trailers and play some game of this, which showed the original animated POV of Disney Worlds expectations of this, and what I read about, was that they were gonna have like 4-5 yeti's on the ride, but they had one. So I was angry at that. But this... This is really good. It seems close to what I read and stuff like that!

  • Fantastic, it makes me wish that funding hadn't been cut.

  • wow excellent job man, that ride would have been sooooo much better if it was like that.

  • Download? :)

  • ok cliked to see the REAL ride but man this was great u hav a real talent

  • wow is this computer game?DD whats name ?whee i cand feand this game pls?^^thank you

  • it's called "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3". I also have the two expansion packs: "Soaked" and "Wild!" you can buy the guy at any place that sells computer games

  • ok thank you very much:D:Dthe video is very ver good;))i have roller coaster tycoon 3 bin ITA but i didn't have a packs soaded and wild :(

  • No, It's a sandwich... OF COURSE IT'S A GAME.

  • Cool video. I had a question and I thought you might know. We are going to disney in Dec. and Jan. but we can't figure out if Typhoon Lagoon is open on Jan. 1st I have heard that it is closed till Jan. 6th but we are leaving disney world Jan. 3rd, so we could not go on that date. We have even called disney but I wanted to know if you knew. Thanks.

  • i LOVE your full expirence videos could you do the simpsons ride full expirence or the incredible hulk full expirence dude your amazing great works :)

  • thanks a bunch.... i haven't been on the simpsons ride and i could possibly do the hulk. i can't make any promises but i will definitely do my best

  • thanks alot

  • great coaster but how did u get da track to split to make it go foward to backwards on a different track nd how did u get it to stop at the wen it goes back

  • you edit options.txt so there are no limits to where you can have the rides, such as overlapping and splitting the track. You use two rollercoasters and film one of them, then film the other put them together in movie maker or something like that. Is that right??

  • amazing you're just amazing

  • your version is better than the real thing 10/10

  • hey u said u used windows movie maker right. well i tied that on 1 of my custom coasters and it wouldnt let me upload it because it was a windows movie maker copy!!! wat does that mean?

  • How do you stop then go backwards on a different track??? PLEASE, PLEASE TELL!!!!

  • i've answered that question in my Dinosaur Safaris video: go there and you'll see

  • Great Job!

But did I smell a video switch when you started moving backwards...or is that part of 'Wild'...

also...how did you get the track underground....

or is that also part of Wild...

  • yes it was a video switch, and it's part of Wild =)

  • I absolutely love it!

  • plz can you tell me how you made that it looks so realistic comment back

  • AMAZING, just like everything else you post! 5 stars!

  • My mouth is hanging open in awe while I watch.

  • I like the IOA music tou used

  • Wow, very nice job with this coaster. I like the town at the beggining.

  • WOW 5/5 sars from me

  • I love all the details the original ride looks sooooo fun I was wondering that when you go backwards does it make you feel sick? I am going to go on it in december 08 so i was just wondering about that

  • No going backwards is the best part of the ride.

  • it really depends on the person. to me it's a little sickening. that's the part of the ride that gets to most people because it's completely backwards in the dark, and the forces make people claim that they go upside down (although this of course is not true). but yeah, it all comes down to what you can/can't handle. it goes 40MPH backwards, 55MPH forwards, and the backwards part is just a long 900-degree helix

  • I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!! I SO KNEW IT!!! I KNEW YOU DIDN'T GO UPSIDE DOWN!!!! I WAS RIGHT AND MY FRIEND WAS WRON- 40; ONLY 40 mph! I thought it went faster! Wow. I knew the drop went 55, but Backwards was 40?!?!

  • lol the yeti is a billboard

  • cool

  • so this is what disney had in mind for the expedition everest ride? btw awesome coaster!

  • more or less.... this is of course my interpretation. i'm not in their heads i don't know what they want. i just based all this off of concept art and story concepts

  • you made the best viedo in history!!!!!!

  • the viedo you made is soooooooooooooo real!.

  • i did read the thing on the top and i think it is one of the main sceens in the ride and just fortit was missing from the ride and i just rembered that bit in the ride wen i was on it.

  • yeah i don't think it has much pertinence to the ride itself, and i don't have any good scenery for it so i figured it'd be best to just leave it out

  • i mean where is the the bird that sweeps beyond the mountain? just because on the video u can't see it

  • you mean that cardboard figure on a Popsicle stick? =P (it really is pathetic how little money went into that thing) i didn't put it in. This isn't a replica of the ride in case you haven't read that

  • LOL cordboard figure on a popsicle stick

  • where the bird that sweeps at the top of the everist in the first ection

  • i know you sed not to comment on it but it is a long vid.. but the ride is phenominal :D

  • wow, another great coaster. I thought the yetis were pretty good. The 2nd and 3rd ones, I could barely tell they were just signs, until the train was right up to it. Great job again.

  • Everything you make is gold! 5/5

  • from 4:45 and a lil after how did u get da ground to go up da angle da same as da coaster

  • grid box by grid box i just lifted it to the right angle

  • great music and the pictuers and muisc and coaster and the over lap track

  • If it's RCT 3 then it IS a recreation,

  • what does creating it with RCT3 have anything to do with it being a recreation? A recreation just means a copy of an original piece of work. This is not an exact copy. I changed a lot of it. The fact that I used RCT3 has nothing to do with whether this is a recreation or not

  • Nevermind, I though something else.

  • no problem =)

  • you made great mountain for this viedo! and how long did it take you to make is viedo/coaster?.

  • 5/5

  • how did you get the coaster to go backwards???

  • i mentioned it in my other Expedition Everest video. I have some pretty good answers there because a lot of people asked

  • k ill look!!!

  • what is the cheatcide for the the overlap tracks? and i lake your music for the viedo

  • Excellent Job. What program do you use to create these clips?

  • roller coaster tycoon 3's in-game recorder i used to film it, and i used windows movie maker to edit it

  • very freaking awesome doode and did you make those sound effects? well ne ways nice job and 5/5 stars

  • thanks! no i recorded them from a video. the video was recorded by my friend John Corigliano (used to be on MouseTimes and is now on WDWNewsToday)

  • hmmm is there a special program you need to take just the sound from a real video and put it into your rct vids?

  • windows movie maker and a microphone or recording device lol

  • really cool!Nice job!:)

  • awesome video

  • Everything just looks stunning! good job dude

  • great coaster!

  • what set does the flags come from??

  • Disfan1's Expedition Everest Set

  • Great Job You must have lots of patience to be able to make anything in that much detail! And you made it look spectacular, within (some) of the capabilities of RCT3.

How did you make the Train move backwards...were those separate stations?, and at the broken track piece, how did you stop the train and launch it backwards?

  • very nice, shame there isnt a decent scenery pack with yetis but still very nice, sadly i have never had the chance to ride it but it looks awesome.
