Great cartoon. Felix the cat has had such an important place in animation history. I remember seeing lots of these kinds of shorts being aired on cartoon network during the mid 90's. Maybe not this exact one but a lot of classic cartoons with music often acting as the voices.

It's not only that these kinds of cartoons aren't made anymore but it seems to me that they are completely ignored. I keep seeing comments from people stating "omg they must hav takin drugz". A few words here and there I wasn't used to seeing. This is very interesting...I'd like to see Cartoon Network (which has gone down the drains in recent times) air these shorts. I remember seeing this cartoon when it first came out, down at the flea pit picture house in manchester back in 1919.

I was about 14 years old, fuckin good times, ill tell thee, back in those days you could smoke in the cinema and get pissed, come to think of it you could even wear a flat cap and take your own jellied eels in as well.

But those times are now gone, it all go fucked up once they chucked the old piano away and brought in the talkies
