@Valvik123 If this helps, I used a cheat o get Mewtwo in Yellow for example, and it came up like that, and when I ran and went to another one it said Mewtwo. later on I tried catching the one with the different name, and after I caught it it THEN came up with the name being Mewtwo.

If I were you I would just save frequently, and if the problem persists, save your game and re-downloaded Gameboid.

Ok. I have the same VBA version as you, and painstakingly carefully followed every move you made .

When I try to catch a wild pokemon, before the battle screen shows up, the VBA screen goes black and I have to load a save to keep playing.

The infinite health doesn't work either. Once I get hit, I lose all my health, it goes back to full health and then the health bar keeps flickering. Same thing, I have to load a save state to continue playing.
