  • is that how whales looks like in japan?

  • A fuck yuuu whare!!!

  • i like belugas

  • SO CUTE I WANT TO SNUGGLE THEM.

  • hi ^.^

  • 2 people like black black whales

  • This beluga Allya embarked upon motherhood to 2009 years. It lives energetically though the show is a rest now.

  • they belong in freedom stupidos

  • It's true guys, stop acting like your whale specialists and saying that they are imprisoning them. For all we know the whales could be happy since they are well taken care of. Who knows what the whales are thinking!

  • diver: do you guys love me

    belugas : "shake heads"

    beluga1: should we kill him

beluga2 and 3: "nods" hell yeh lets rip him to shreds, then we'll break out of this shithole

  • <3 amazing

  • What beautiful creatures! :D How can anyone hunt such a peaceful animal?

  • they are so adoable !

  • People disagree a lot with captivity, but how do you know if these animals are enjoying it or not? That beluga whale throwing the ball looked like it was having a lot of fun to me. I'm only against cruelty and neglection towards the animals needs.

  • i want one =D

  • They do not look unhappy. Plus they are safe from predators.

  • @tereyashy thats destroying the cycle of life and the cycle of nature.. keeping a animal from a predator is harming the food chain

  • @tereyashy You can't tell. They're mouths are permanently fixed in a curve, which is why they tend to look like they're always smiling. But obviously we can't ascribe human characteristics (mouths expressing emotion) to other animals like that.

  • You people don't realize that these whales have a bond with the diver. Sure it's sad they have to be crammed up in that small tank but they probably get really excited when their trainer comes and plays with them. They probably get moved to a bigger tank when they aren't entertaining anyways.

  • WHALE JAIL!!

  • This breaks my heart. I hate how these poor animals are cooped up in a tiny aquarium.

  • Whales are so smart!

    Whales must be protected!!!

  • wonder if those 3 are still around.... maybe used for 'research'? This is in Japan afterall 0_0

  • I had the oppertunity to see one of these up close, also i saw a two month old beluga whale too.

  • this is horrible. they should be swimming in the big blue ocean not doing cheap tricks for tourists.

  • lalagirl, you must come from la la land. These whales are loving this attention. Stop projecting your own thoughts into the whales'. Now go play with your PETA friends.

  • Idiot.

  • @mundymanor I'd bet those whales would love to be free more than to get attention.

  • @melovetorun --If they had been free once, they might want what they had. Any critter born in captivity or raised from a youngster likely does not give it any thought.

People put too many human thoughts and emotions on animals. They don't sit around contemplating their past or future; they live for the moment, and that is all.

  • @mundymanor Says the person who criticized someone else for projection >.> You would know that ... how?

  • That looks fun

  • Many dolphin and whale shows incorporate circus tricks such

as trainers propelled into the air by an animals snout or animals

taking fish from a trainers mouth. The animals are presented as

clowns, and almost no effort is made to educate the audience

about their natural behavior. Naomi A. Rose-PhD-2009

  • Why do they fart in front of the camera ? Don't they have any education ?

  • why are all the beluga's inn japann ? (:

  • Soooooo adorable:D

  • be careful whale, japenese will eat you!

  • They're not fake, stupid.

  • i love miss beluga whaley <3

  • well if you see strings then why don't i see them?!

  • I want a beluga whale in my tanker ahahahah... I love this kind of animals. I like harp seals, dolphins too. I love them and now to beluga whale.

  • it's not a fish dickhead, it's a mammal and just like all other mammals it has lungs

  • Mamals don't have fins.

  • But pappals have mustache ! Ha ha ha !

  • you're retarded. whales are MAMMALS.

they can make bubble rings through their blowhole, which is connected to their LUNGS.

goddamn, it's people like you that make me wonder why we're considered the 'smartest species'...

  • God I just find this incredibly sad.

  • This is an IMPRESSIVE video. It's amazing what some of these animals can do. People just look at them like they're things when they're creatures with a brain that can do a lot of things. Great video. Especially making the whale blow those rings!!

  • nice video

  • thats fucking empressing

  • while this is a pretty cool video, it's hard to get past the fact that Japan sanctions the unnecessay slaughter of thousands of whales and dolphins every year. So I'm sure you can understand why people get a bit squeemish about seeing the worlds Japan and Whale in the same sentence.

  • i'm sure their nation is divided among these views. while this aquarium may be agaisnt whaling and for preserving whale species, other fishermen will all be for whaling... i don't really beleive every single person in there will be that evil. if i did, it would be stereotyping i think.

  • Well, i guess if this film was taken in China, then you'd have a point. But since it wasn't, I guess you can go pound sand. (I don't think you'd have a point anyway, though)

  • could someone tell me ,theur torso looks like

    hiden legs ...Oo

  • I've been to this aquarium in Hamada...used to live in Kawamoto

  • They ain't fuckin' performing dogs. They're fuckin Whales, why cant people leave them in peace?!?!?

  • We can't leave them in peace because they're so delicious!

  • What's the difference between whales, dolphins, dogs, cats, or any other living creature? Why are these whales more important to you than dogs? Why are they more important to you than any other animal?

  • @mmangos I think it's because of their intelligence. They are very, very intelligent and I'm sure they don't like being in an enclosure that small.

  • I want to save whales, too. But come on. Human culture is all about exploiting nature, so don't get all f-ing worked up about 3 white dolphins that are actually treated well and cared for and start getting worked up about puppy mills, factory chickens, bovine growth hormones, or just the guy down the street who beats his dogs.

  • @mmangos They are NOT being treated well. These creatures do 30+ mph, cover hundreds of miles every day. They are at least as intelligent as we are, and do these tricks because they want to eat and we've taken everything away from them. They are being kept in a jar, and slowly driven crazy by the sounds of their own echo-location bouncing off of the walls of that tank. This is not okay... and we have no right to enslave these, our marine equals.

  • @mmangos Well said!

  • Oh, yeah. And get a life.

  • @donnap83 They love interacting with humans as do Dolphins, they can either be well fed, entertained and kept happy in aquariums all over the world or be hunted by polar bears and eventually become extinct in 20 to 30 years.

  • @donnap83 How do you know that they're not enjoying themselves?

  • ive seen them they are realy nice !!

    shiroiiruka...kawai!!

  • INCREDIBLE
