Dude, like techcrack said, its the lens man. Canon is better for short films/indy films, while nikon is ideal for photography. it's not really a fair comparison. besides the nikon 50mm you used was a more expensive lens anyway so no wonder the nikon won. if they had the same type of lenses you wouldnt be able to tell them apart. but cool vid anyways. :)
1:52 I guess you're were using 50mm F/1.8 lenses. The Canon lens is cheaper than the Nikon's 50mm. So that means that the focus on the Canon lens is slower, whereas the Nikons lens is a bit faster. Btw, it isn't the camera that produces the bad photo, the lens does. Nice comparison video though, keep them up!
