Faton99, I don't know where you got your figures from, but the M5 E60 with 507bhp will do the 1/4 mile quicker than 14.4s; thus, with all due respect, you are talking complete shite. I suggest you research your figures next time before spouting nonsense.
The M5 performance would be more like 12.8 with a trap speed of 114MPH +.
I have a cerbera 4.5 and it does not even break sweat taking an M5 or M6. The tuscan (driven correctly) is as quick as a cerbera. M power BMWs are just plodding euro boxes with a bit more poke, not super cars. Not close to TVR league.

look u herd of da m5 e60 clr 500rs thats the exact car i av i got it tuned by lumma and its still got the stock engine but im pullin 560 bhp das just about doing 507bhp and i have a topspeed of 210mph easy and on stock it can do just155 coz of da limiter my car will BLITZ da tuscan easy
yeh but how much are u paying for it! having a tvr is having a bit or british car heritage. running a BMW... any one can do that. owning a TVR thats something totaly different. and if your gona be like that theres a TVR t440r which would wipe your little bit of german metal off this planet!
M5 is 100% standard, enought power for me and too many warranty issues once you modify them. I've had the limiter removed by CA Automotive and that's it.
M5s are ok..TVRs are awesome,drive both and you wil have no doubt about which one puts a bigger grin on your face,
TVRs are proper sports cars,BMWs have no soul-no charactor and no style.

@ fatjon: I am very sorry to tell you but my standard M5 Touring was measured 0-100 MPH (160 km/h) in 9.8 s. that is without using Launch control!
an old one (e39) took +/- 12 s.
A 540 from 1999 with automatic transmission ddid 0-100 mph in about 15 s.
an this one is for you: Sport Auto tested the TVR Tuscan @ 10.7 seconds for the same discipline...
A second slower than my M5 Touring... but a tick faster than my Chimaera 500.

He left the line before me. Doesn't change the fact that the times didn't start until I'd started moving.
Still an awesome car though (the M5).
