I think it's interesting to see how he saw the caller id and lay down on the couch to talk. He never displayed this kind of relaxedness except with Sara. And the "hi" reminded me of Sara's "Hi Gilbert" in 8x01 (the parking lot scene)- it's so totally GSRy!

LOL Popeye forearms. It's strange because to me one of the sexiest parts of a man are his forearms which is why WP makes me nuts when he wears short sleeves. Did you see Live and Die in LA? He seemd pretty normal sized to me in that movie but I could be wrong. I think men who want to bulge bulge. As much as I'd LOVE for it to be Catherine on the phone, being a major Grillows fan (GSR fans slap me if you want, it's only a matter of opinion people) I do actually think it's Sara. I don't think Catherine would call, I think she'd be more likely to visit. Plus the way he looks at the phone before he answers, it's almost like shock and excitement I guess when he sees the ID. I think the "soulmate" thing was the writers having fun with the way that every other woman who crosses Grissom's path gets labelled as "Oh, she's his soulmate!". Or they were just taunting the GSR fans... who knows.
