I MUCH prefer David Lee Roth as the leader. Granted that they did make some good songs with Hagar (in particular this one) but I think the band had a better image with Roth. He kept the band with a lighthearted attitude and had a type of energy that was never seen with Sammy. Plus, all the songs that made them famous were with Dave. I think David Lee Roth is the true singer that belongswith Van Halen, whereas Hagar, to me, only served as a temporary replacement while Roth was absent.
