that's great! My Blue & Gold says "ahh ooo" when he has to go. I take him back to his cage door and he steps off to the door and does his business then says "ok I'm ready" It's so nice!

Tongo actually learned that by me sitting with him and saying poo-poo when he would go. I even would cheer him on afterwards. Sounds gross, huh. After a few weeks he got it.

Yes he's no end of fun in the office and home. He (or she - we don't know)just turned 18 months and seems to be expanding his repertoire rapidly now ... hope he gets as clear as your Tongo!

Aww, he/she (LOL) will get clearer. You can have your Grey tested to see what sex it is. We never had Tongo sexed because we have no plans to breed him. He calls himself a good boy so we just go with it. My other Grey was tested before I got her so I know she is a girl. Although she sounds like a motorcycle rider who has smoked waaaay to many cigarettes. :-)

My son taught Tongo how to say it when he was younger. My son learned how to say your a big poo or poopy head in kindergarten and would say it Tongo when Tongo would boss him around, so now Tongo also calls us big poo's or Poopity McPoo's when we do not give him what he asks for.
