@GanGsTerR4Live I am not sure what to believe, but at my boxer gym none of the elite boxers do serious weight lifting. The coach say's something like "you should be in the weight class you are built for. putting on extra muscles only make you gas out fast." Doing heavy bag workout, sparring and body weight exercises can get you into pretty good shape aswell. Take a look at the old champions like Norton, Foreman or Ali. None of them lifted weights either and still weighed around 220 lbs.

Na altho with a physique like that you might think he did. Some people just are more gifted for building a body like that then others. Mike also trained verry hard but hes no bodybuilder nor did he ever wanted to be. A true bodybuilder wouldnt last 5 rounds in a boxing match because you shed a lot of water/ exc storage in boxing especially when it goes on fo rounds on end, so a true boxer must have some reserves too to actually be able to box.
