@storm24awesome Well back then it was The Solutia Plant, Now its the Crist Gulf Plant. It seems to change hands and get a new name often. There's only two types of locos that go here, its either these pair of MP15AC Switchers, or a Pair of GP38's or GP40's. No other units go down this path.

@Maxqstl that Cantilever style is made by Western Cullen Hayes. You dont see them very often these days as those are a real pain to work on as you need a boom vehicle to replace those cantilever lights, whereas say the other cantilever you have a walkway to get to the lights. I have only seen those cantilevers at this crossing, a couple in downtown pensacola, and one crossing in Maine, Forrest Ave.

@Crossingman18 There's a BNSF line that runs from downtown Denver to Boulder, CO and several crossings feature the WCH cantilever. One of those crossings actually reminds me of this one where it has the old WCH and a modern one (where an old WCH was at one time of course and all bulbs are working).

this takes place in northern Cantonment next to the Solutia Plant. And No I have not been to the plant. I doubt there are any signals in the plant. I am sure they are all crossbucks.

Gate arm is obviously too short, too many lights aren't working, gate arm is upside down on the closest side, I see several liabilities. Is this a CSX crossing, or does a private contractor maintain it, since it is on a spur, per your information?

There used to be a bunch of cantilever's like that in the Pensacola area. There's still a few left as referenced here. The 9 mile road crossings all had cantilevers like that back in the late 80's or so.

May I also add that the gate closest to you is TOO SHORT. It only blocks a quarter of the lane. Anyone could easily go around it. It should be extended another 3'.

this crossing probley hasnt had any check outs since ivan-ivan probley took out that other cantilver too yah thoes cantilvers are at la rue st in downtown thats also one odd e-bell sound like a type two but its a one are the gate lights even workin i cant tell. this crossing need an led upgrade great vid once again just replying back

the sad truth of it is 2 out of 6 gate lights are working. The FRA REALLY needs to see this. Somebody could just go right down the middle of the road in a tiny car like a eclipse or a mazda and go right inbetween the gates. I wouldn't mind seeing a LED upgrade here, but CSX only likes the Safetran Ball LED's. Even those I wouldn't mind. But something needs to be done.

Wow, neat video of a rarely used and badly maintained crossing! The bell sounds like a GS Type 2 or one of its sound-alikes from US&S or Safetran.
