What a truth - the message of our key verse in our reading today, verse 8. It is the grace of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - it is the grace by which we are saved. There was no work that I could do to be made pure, only the blood of Jesus Christ could cleanse me, and you, and make us whole.
i think it will work for a while but a piece of bread is going to be more valuable than an ounce of silver...james chapter 5...read the whole thing though...first it talks about rich men, talks about miseries to come upon them, talks about how they nourished their hearts as in the day of slaughter and how they kept back money from their employees through fraud, etc...one of my favorite bible passages, i know it by memory

Pure gold doesn't rust. However, it does appear to rust if mixed with other metals. Could the passage be referring to forged gold in the end times?
